Archived Review

After many attempts to write this review, I finally got around to getting it right!!!
After writng it up until "Resoruces", it was going really slow, so I decided to copy the first half, right the second and then I would paste the first half back in. Well, that didn't happen. I copied something else. So I have to rewrite this yet again!!!!

Now, we both no I'm no coding diva or design diva, but I can offer you my opinion and help you with the minor spelling, grammar, punctuation problems.

~ First Impression ~
I love, love, love - can't say love enough!!! - this layout so much. I can not get over how much I love the layout! Lol. :) :) :)
The text looks metalic - so cool!!!
One little problem: there's a little 'crack' in the layout if you follow along the edge of the purple part. I'm thinking it is a problem with the background, but I'm not positive.
The CSS is amazing, except for one little problem: the headers. They are so squished together and hard to read. I think you should keep the headers readable and tidy!

~ About ~
HISTORY
The history is very well written. The history is one of my favourite parts of anyone's site because I have some weird love for progress and evolving. Lol. Either way, good job and congrats on everything :)
PS: Manchester is cooler than Chelsea, I think ;)

AFFILIATES
One thing that always bothers me is the use of the word 'affie'. It sounds very amateur to me. It just annoys me to bits, thats all.

PAST LAYOUTS
It saddens me to see that you've deleted your other layouts. Even though they had celebrity images, it didn't take away from the fact that they were still amazing!!! I think you should put them back up anyways.

Line 4: "to much stabbings" should be changed to "too much stabbings"
Also, you should add a pge for your dog - Sasha I think her name is. . ?
She's cute! Or many just a picture!!! :D

~ Tutorials ~
First off, I think you should delete any tutorials that can be found on 5 other sites. This way, any tutorials you DO have would be completely original. . .
Play around on different programs and find new things to do and then write a tutorial on it. :)
I'm not going to review these for the simple fact that I don't feel like wasting my time.
The only tutorial on here that is unique is the Paint Shop Pro >> Easy Texture.

~ Resources ~
BLOG SMILIES
Your blog smilies are very cute. I love them so much - especially the rainbow ones!
The only thing off about them is the previews; more specifically, the background of the previews.
They are the same colour as the actual smilies which makes it extremely hard to even SEE the smilies. I'd suggest making the background black or something. Don't cover your talent!

CODED LAYOUTS
Although they are very plain, they are very good.
"Work in IE & FF and suitable for all screen resolutions."
What's IE & FF again? I know what they are, but not everyone will. But even so, shouldn't the layouts be compatible on ALL browsers?

COLOUR PALETTES
These are very cute. I see you've added some new ones since the last time I have seen them. Lol.
A few of the older ones are very similar. I think you should delete any set that are one or two shades off. You have light pink, dark pink with gray and then you have light pink, dark pink with dark gray.

FONTS
Much better! Instead of stealing the fonts and popping them on your site, you've provided the link to the place you can find it - KUDOS :)

PHOTOSHOP ACTIONS / PSP SCRIPTS
These are very good and very usable! I might even consider downloading them to edit a couple of pictures I have. One negative comment - and I'm sure you know what I'm going to say - the celebrity images. I would be more than happy to lend you some pictures to use as previews. Just let me know! :)

WEBSITE TEMPLATES
Very good. Previews are a little hard on the eyes, though.
"These containers work in IE, FF & Safari."
What are IE and FF? But again, they should work on ALL browsers.

~ Graphics ~
AFFILIATE IMAGES
I love these. Especially the checkboard-ish ones and the square swirly ones. He he. :)

BACKGROUNDS
You have some very nice backgrounds here but I think you need more variety with the colours. You seem to have pink, blue, black and sometimes green. What happened to orange, brown, grey? I think you should also make different shades of each colour: navy blue, baby blue. Maroon and light red. Etc.

BUTTON BASES
Really good. Nothing to say here. :)

PIXEL BULLETS
WOW. Very good except not much variety for colour for some of them. If you're already making them in 3-4 colours, might as well make the rest. Also, different shades. You need to call out to all different types of CSS and layouts.

~ Advertising ~
It makes me happy to see a site that offers any period of free advertising that doesn't require a link back.
It saddens me, however, to see sites saying "No Piczo". Why would I even bother to care? Because I was from Piczo too and if it weren't for Piczo, I probably wouldn't be where I am now. Other than that, coooool beans.
Or Pork N' Beans because you're a Weezer fan ;)

~ Conclusion ~
To conclude, I looooove your site. It's so good.
You have so much potential and even more talent!
Very minor errors with the spelling and grammar so snaps for that! :D
You're running an amazing site and I look forward to watching it progress more in the future.
Keep up the phenomenal work - you're really good.
Hope you're content with your review!!! :D

PS, it's almost been half a year with the site. Lol.
