Some strengths:
1) I like the small touches to your layout, such as the subliminal "subscribe to my feed now!" graphic, the guy peeking out from the top of your sidebar, and the graphical elements you've added to your header. Attention to detail = good. It's obvious you've spent time on this layout.
2) Your taste in music. Yes, yes, that probably doesn't count towards a site review, but I'm thinking it's a strength.
Some room for improvement:
1) Remove This layout is best viewed in 1024 x 768 and higher monitor resolutions. and Browser (best viewed): Firefox - these parts are irrelevant. It's not up to you to decide how I should view your site - it should be up to me, you know?
2) Add an 'about me' page. Yes, this site is about your thoughts, but I think your visitors would like to know more about you as a person.
3) Your navigation. With all the little details you've added to your site, your navigation seems somewhat... neglected. Perhaps space it out slightly so it takes up the full width? Or maybe move it to your sidebar?
Overall, I think your site has heaps of potential. I see you only opened at the end of October, so with a couple of months (and an 'about me' page), I think you'll be doing just fine. Keep up the good work so far.
