This is a review site, I know shocking. It means that *gasp* people will review your site in it’s entirety! From poor grammar to poor coding to your graphic skillz. Fyi, on your design site you flat out state that this site is in fact a portfolio site. So you may want to edit that if it is not. You said yourself you were going to change what it says at the top, so you may want to do that.
This is the site design for my portfolio web site that is still under construction.
First Impression
Design is okay, been done before but it is still a nice rendition of it. You do have quite a few spelling errors and typos … oh wait sorry I’m not supposed to review your writing!
Design/Coding
As I said, design is okay. The business card (I assume that that is what it is?) has rather blurred looking text in comparison to the rest of the layout. The post-it notes are cute, but are technically ‘falling’ off the desk since they are below the wood. I think they would look a bit nicer on the actual ‘desk’. There is also some spots you missed on erasing the background from the sharpie marker too. The sidebar could also be positioned up a bit higher.
Coding, well quite a few errors for someone is a professional designer. Oh wait! Sorry *doh* I forget, not supposed to review on this either! How embarrassing :3
Content
Pretty basic stuff in the bio. The screencapture of your design site right in the middle is rather odd though. This page seems about your design history than you. Maybe include a bit more information on yourself.
Conclusion
I think you need to learn to take criticism and advice better, or you will have a tough time in the design industry … oops there I go again! The design is okay, with some edits here and there it could be much better :D Not much for content, maybe add a bit of information on yourself. I don’t mean a full life story but a bit more couldn’t hurt, especially in terms of getting new cliental. Also noticed you commented on one of your own entries … editing would suffice.
UPDATED 21 Dec 08:
You make excuses for everything, get over it. Six years of experience means nothing, it's about learning and growing not "who has been doing it the longest". Your 'experience' seems to not have taught you that much if you can't even take advice and criticism you ASKED for.
