I'm a tiny bit dissapointed with this layout.
Usually, your designs have colors that look terrific together. Colors, that we won't usually thing to put together. Like green, pink, and gray.
This layout, on the other hand, bleeds pink. Though there are splashes of green, I don't see enough green. The background is busy. But, with the rest kept simple, it could work. It's worked before. I don't see it working now. I think its the header. Its pink, but its a pink unlike the others. I don't see it in the background.
You coding is valid, but I couldn't tell by clicking the link at the bottom. You have to replace "referer" with your site url. I took a look at your at your CSS, also. I wouldn't declare validation just yet, for you have four errors. Apparently, you're missing a semi-colon and there are a few parse errors. On to the content!
Your about me page is professional with a few added facts about you; well written.
The portfolio page instructs me to click the "x" in the top right corner of the image to close it. But, the image takes up the entire width of my computer screen (SR 1024 x 768). Luckily, I can click the image to close it. Those who are computer challenged, might not know this. I think you should add that method of exit somewhere in that opening paragraph.
Maybe its just me, but I prefer the size of the images to be that of the HannahWarmbier.name layout. Its size showcases the detail of the design without taking up the entire screen.
On the services page, I find myself scrolling a lot. As a potential client, I don't seen this page as very well organized. I'm going to suggest using anchors? Because the text is so large (definitely not a bad thing!), it looks a bit cluttered. Maybe add a <br /> tag between sections -- to better distinguish. Reguarding the prices, wow. I won't be coming back here. I get the feeling that you're targeting businesses more than personal websites. To keep in a happy medium, I suggest lowering the prices by about twenty-five or thirty bucks. Also, shortening the one year free maintenance to six months (maybe less) to accommodate for the lower prices.
Same with the resume page. I feel like this page is a bit cluttered, because the headers and the text are the same color. Again, might want to add an extra <br /> tag between sections. If you're adding testimonials, maybe add them on this page?
Sidenote: don't know if you want to specify which company you work(ed) as a cashier for. The company might see it as pulling a Dooce. Especially since you have your personal blog linked to this website.
Contact page is normal, not much to be said about this page. My only concern is how small the textarea is. I suggest making it a bit wider.
In conclusion, your website is well written and well organized, for the most part. Please keep in mind a few of my suggestions, and keep doing what you're doing.
