I know your site is new, but there are a few quick things you can do immediately to drastically improve your site.
1. Add a title tag. Right now in my tab in Firefox, all I see is "http://ww....index.php" instead of something like "Avoidingg.info" to let me know what site is in my tab bar.
2. Remove (or redesign) those seizure-inducing 88x31 animated gif buttons. I do not know what they are advertising, but surely just one tasteful button in your sidebar would do? As is, I purposely did not click on them because they were so in my face. Tone them down!
3. Your white text on black background is kind of hard to read. This is because white on black creates too much contrast and it makes the colors seem to "vibrate," which is hard on the eyes. A better choice would be a slight off-white or light gray, like #ddd. The blue is actually pretty vibrate-y too, but it's much less bad than the white.
Other more advanced things:
1. Look up valid and standards-based code. Start learning what this means and why it is awesome. :)
2. Consider using WordPress instead of CuteNews, as I'm pretty sure CuteNews is an insecure PHP script that could result in your site being hacked.
3. Keep reading articles online about web design and web development! It will keep you learning and trying new things. :D
