Wow that background hurts my eyes. Way too busy. I would really suggest toning it down. I cannot read your navigation, I do believe you have some coding error there. Glancing at your code I don't see anything blatantly wrong so it could just be a validation error. I'd run it through the W3C school's code checker. Also something up with your CSS on the updates the links are default blue.
Second thing is the font I DO see in your navigation lacks a few nouns. This is a horrible thing to do. It looks like you were just too lazy to type out the full words. Even if you have to shrink the size of your font so it fits, do it and type out the whole word. It will look nicer and make people want to maybe hang around your site long enough to check out the content. Also never ever have a hover over color that blocks out your text from the visitor's view.
You have a huge font size difference running through out the site. Keep this more consistent, make sure you keep all your content text, including links at say 11px and then if you want your nav or head text to be larger then keep them all at say 15px.
It'd be cool of you had an actual header and maybe something saying the name of your site. Right now it's like oh I'm browsing...?
Then you can link your home page directly from the header as well.
Moving on from the layout since I've picked at it long enough. You have a bad case of bad to no punctuation and lack of capitalization where it needs be. To keep visitors coming and still remain a tad bit professional, regardless of whether this site is or not, you should try to make an effort with punctuation, spelling, and etc. I don't know of anyone that wants to come to a site that is hard to read because of these things, or because chat speak is used.
Browsing your site page I see nothing about the site, what it is, what's it's purpose or who runs it. This is something that's a bit important for a site. I have nothing to say about visitor content since there is none at the moment. Resources, well nothing I haven't seen before, and there's not much of it. Your wordpress theme looks "ok" but I have seen better quality.
Tutorials look sloppy and you are doing something that is very very simple and can be found anywhere. I would suggest organizing your tutorials better, one has text jumbled all over the places and it's just not very nice to look at.
Overall I don't find anything on this site worth coming back for. The content is medicore, you should find something, just one thing and work hard at making it unique and of really good quality. Your updates, you could add things like tips and tricks for making better photo shopped images or layouts. Anything that would bring visitors in and then having them want more. I would come back to a site that had interesting news and tips for photoshop, or web design.
I DO like the name of your site, but it has little to do with your site in general, I think it would be neat if you could incorporate that title into your site a bit more. Since this is supposed to be a blog and not just a resource site I will say it again, you should have some kind of about page. You could even try adding your opinions on things like what kind of web trends you appreciate and what ones you don't, or just any kind of opinion on resource related things would be neat on your site too. Maybe you could blog on how you got into web design and such. Just a few ideas. I think your site has potential it just needs work.
