Before getting into the review, I really do love the quality of your photos – it makes me giddy! :B
Design: Alright, first thing that bothers me is the organization. Not saying it is bad. I'm saying it's confusing. Your visitors must not be confused. Make sure your layout is clear, so that even the most idiotic people can understand it. I'm not entirely a fan of images as the main background, but this works...possibly because the content areas opacity have been set down. I really hate the image you made for the site name. It completely throws the layout off. It looked like you wanted a soft theme for the layout, but that image just ruined it. I would of preferred the site name to be white or even a dark blue. Or maybe even a gradient of dark blue and white. That would soften the title, and at least allow me to not take a few steps back from the computer.
Content: In terms of content, all you have is a comment area and the 'story of your life' – aka blog. Not a fan of blogs, unless they have more to offer to their visitors.
This site looks pretty granny looking, not much like how modern, clean cut websites look like nowadays. You seem to have some experience, but 10 years of experience? You'd expect more. Especially since I've been doing web design for only 2 years and people think otherwise of my experience.

This would be rated less if I didn't think I saw some experience through your work today. But there was some, in terms of the different positioning in your layout.
UPDATE:
OKAY! You have some content there, but it is not easy to get to. There is no visible link to lead us to that content. That's a negative for organization.
And the only reason why I knew where content was, was because you stated in a reply below.
