Your Site Design:
First off I do like your design it is very interesting, from my point of view. Though I do have to admit it is a little too dark for my tastes, but that is an opinion. I do have a little problem seeing some of the graphics & text in your sidebar on the right side. Especially the area where your feed information is. I like the gradient background of the site though it does take a while to load with my dial-up. But it is a refreshing change from the normal repeating backgrounds that you normally see these days.
As for the main navigation across the top of the page I do like it, but I would make one suggestion. The background words could be just a shade or two lighter. They blend just a bit too much into the background that you can not really tell what they say. I know I spent about a minute trying to tell what they said. Though I knew that they probably said what the button was I have seen them where they say something different.
For the sidebar navigation I enjoyed how you use different icons for the different categories of links & the multiple columns for the ones that have a lot of links in them. I really enjoy the way that it looks. Very neat & organized.
Your Content:
Your content is just what I expect from a personal blog. You go into great detail about yourself & your life. It is really interesting. The way you describe yourself makes me want to learn more about you & your life. Well done. Your domain page is very nicely done. The only thing I would love to see on it is a list of WordPress plugins you use if any, but that is just personal preference. I am not going to deduct anything from your score for the lack of it. Your contact page is nice & neat also. I do enjoy that your spam catcher is just a few numbers & not a picture with spots & stuff you can hardly read. Your links are very nicely organized. You showcase a nice range of links from most areas of the internet though that really isn't any of my business, lol.
Overall Opinion:
I rally do like your site. I would like it to load a little faster, but I am happy to wait for the background to load. Your colors are a little darker & some of the text is a little difficult to read, but all in all it is an enjoyable visit.
