on 5th Dec 2008 and said:Your website layout does reminds me of swimchick, however, I'm sure that wasn't the very first site to have a gradient background with a white content background with an opacity of whatever% it is. I think you designed your website layout very nicely. There is I believe one brush used unless the spots are a seperate brush. The spots are a little edgy (not smooth all around), however, if I marked down for that, it would be too picky on my part XD. You did a great job with the site title at the top as well as the subtitle beneath it. I like how one e is black while the rest of the font is white and still, you can see everything clearly- no blinding color mixes!
I looked through your pages and I like how the font is big enough as well as the spacing so that reading anything is easy.
Your footer is easy and simple, yet very professionally done-
I suppose one small thing that makes me tilt my head to the side (not literally lol) is how the links have a black background to them. Not the navigation links when you hover over them, but just the links that you click on.. like your blog title, comment link, etc. I think it would look better if their opacity was to be the same as your textareas for the sidebar, ya know? a little transparency would be good and if you can't change the opacity, you could try finding the color of the textarea background on your sidebar and use that slightly darker color to be the background color of your links? o.o does that make sense? XD yea, but it's just that, nothing really more. I think you did a great job with your site keep it up!UPDATED 05 Dec 08:

Thank you for reviewing my blog :). I only used one brush, so it's a bit hard to smooth out some of the circles. I'll see what I can do, though. I changed the link background as per your (and everyone else, it seems :P) suggestion to something a bit more softer, so I'm hoping that it looks a lot better now.

on 3rd Dec 2008 and said:I loved your layout from first glance, it's just simply beautiful. I also really liked the gradient touch, it keeps the visitor interested in a way. Nothing needs to be changed in the layout, keep it that way! I also have to say, Georgia's a pretty hard to actually complement the layout itself, but you've done one of the best jobs I've seen. Nothing looks cheesy or ugly.
Your blogs are quite interesting. If I weren't in a rush I would read it, but I'm sure it's going to be good. The sidebar seems a little bit too minimal. Maybe add one more section, just one. The Twitter is also unnecessary, I'm sure your blogs have already said enough about your life, so it's superfluous there.
I agree with Vitalis, your grammar is just awesome, I had no trouble understanding a word you were trying to communicate.
Overall, gorgeous website, nothing needs to be changed. It's close to perfect!

Thanks for the review, Cher. I kind of like having "mini-posts", so I think I'll be keeping the Twitter (well, Asides now, actually) sidebar in.

Honestly the only thing I'd probably change is there seem to be different letter spacings going on, which isn't even that big of a deal. I can't stop looking at how great your layout is. The colors, the quote, the nice gradient. I was looking at your previous themes, and these are pretty cool, but this one is by far the best one you've had. I could only hope that I could make something that neat and organized some day. Your blogs are interesting and you've got a sense of humor that will get you a good set of regular visitors.
I'm checking out your links and these websites seem pretty cool. I Love Typography! I love I Love Typography. Thanks for the Neonglow and Choleric links by the way, I'll check them out.

For being a blog, your layout is great. Usually personals do not know a thing about CSS and don't make great layouts. Your is wonderful though. Whoa, I just scrolled down and the gradient is nicely done.
The way you wright is excellent. I actually enjoy reading your blogs. Don't ever change your style.

Oh, and I know this is a bit of a fail of a review, but there's really not much I'd change. Maybe add some article-type things, or make the titles of your blog posts the exact same font as the subtitle on the header. I know it's close, but I have to find some kind of fault somewhere.

on 21st Nov 2008 and said:I really like your site. The layout is so pretty. The gradient you used makes the whole page feel very relaxed and calm. I love your title and sub title. The font you used for these are very readable and fit well with the layout's theme.
Your top navigation links are really cool. They fit well with the layout. I also like the text you used for them. You did not just say boring, typical stuff like "Me". Instead you said interesting things that make me actually want to click on them.
The only thing that really bothers me is that at the top of your site, everything is cheerful and light colors. But when you scroll down, everything turns dark purple and black. It almost makes you not want to read what's farther down the page. I am not really sure what you could do to help this. Perhaps make the info boxes a light color. Like the ones towards the top could be a darker color and as they got further down they could get lighter. Sort of like a gradient. Do you understand? (I sound confusing...)
Using Safari on Windows | Report This?
Allee's Response:
Thanks for the review, Derick. The sidebar boxes actually use a semi-transparent PNGs, so they just adapt to whatever colour they're at in the gradient. I'm kind of satisfied with the way they look now, but I'll take your word for it, and see if I can find an alternative :).

on 20th Nov 2008 and said:------ First Impression ------
The first impression your site gives is immediately relaxing. I feel like I'm underwater and looking up there is the aqua water with the sun and looking down is the darker water of the depths. I always wanted to be a mermaid and the gradient from the aqua to the purple gives a relaxing underwater experience. I, like Clem, keep playing with it.The header image text does seem a little large in comparison with the sizes of font used else where. I think a more a smaller font size would help achieve a more balanced look.
I like how you made the last 'e' dark blue. I feel that a completely white header would have been too boring, so you made an excellent artistic decision there.
----- Text ------
You use a really nice sized text which is easily readable. Thank goodness, because serif fonts are terrible for reading at small sizes. I think the black against the purple background is too dark for good accessibility purposes. The text stands out more than the title of the entry. I noticed the text, read it, and was then like, "Oh look, there is a title too."Most people who read web-sites scan read. They will scan the text until they find something that interests them and then will switch over into *really* reading. With your entry titles being that dark they will most likely scan your text and skip your title...now that I think about it that may not be a problem. :P
The titles on hover are way too dark to meet accessibility standards. Anyone with visual contrast problems would just see this dark line and no text. It's a good practice to get into to design your text and links as if it were hard for you yourself to see. That way you know anyone who has difficulty with vision can still see thing on your site without problems. (Wow, I'm starting to see from my reviews that really an accessibility nut.)
------ Links ------
If it weren't for the background on your links, I would never know that they were a link. The background is so similar in color and contrast to the actual body background that, again, anyone with visual problems may not be able to see the difference and will miss the link. You'll always want your links to be 100% visible. A lot of viewers while scanning through pages will stop momentarily to read what a link is about.
------ Navigation ------
Simple and easy to find. No complaints.----- Side-bar ------
Simple, non-cluttered. The Subscribe to the RSS feed text is too dark again to meet accessibility standards. (Getting on your nerves yet?)------ Girl -------
or, the one where I learn about how completely, utterly made of the fail the human race can be
I'm not sure I understand that sentence. Do you mean the human race is made to fail? Or do you mean how much the human race does fail? You might want to rethink that sentence and rewrite it so that it's clearer.
I think the H3 tags are too dark again. I will spare you and won't go back into that.
NO! Death to 'here' links! Here links are bad for Search Engine Optimization among other things. Always make sure that your visitors know where it is that a link is going to take them. Be as descriptive with your links as you possibly can be. For more information, you may click here and here. See the effect, it's so much easier when you can see exactly where you are going. I know you can see it in your browser on link hover, but a lot of people (especially younger, older, and inept people) don't know that.
I wasn't expecting the first link in your side-bar to return me to the page I was just visiting . You might want rearrange the wording so that it is more clear that the first link will take the visitor back to the main "index" page of the section.
---- Five Things ----
Crime Scene Investigator (dude, don’t even lie - you know you’ve thought about it)
Caught me. o.O
I really enjoyed this page. It was an quick interesting look into your life.
----- Colophon ------
Now, six years later
I would include the date. I don't know reading this how recent it was. This could have been written two years ago for all I know. I know it probably wasn't due to the math, but it's wise to think of your visitors as babies who need to be spoon-fed information. Don't make them strain their brains.
------- Credits -------
I would consider finding some way to specify an off-site link. A lot of web-site use images or some sort of symbol. It's just a way to let visitors know that by clicking a link they will not longer be on your site. I'm not saying that that isn't obvious with a credits section, it's just a thought for your links in general.------ Archives -------
Nice and organized.Your category links blend in with the layout way to much. I only noticed them after I clicked to go to the "links" section and the page was changing. I had to click the back-link to go back to them because I couldn't believe I missed them. I guess I was paying attention, but they really do just kind of blend in with the overall layout.
------ Links -----
Organized neatly.I'm still feeling that the link color of the side-bar blends in with the overall layout too much. I just have the belief that you want links to be as visible as possible while still maintaining the integrity of your design.
------- Footer ------
I like how you've included the navigation links down at the bottom in your footer as well as at the top in the main navigation. A person would have to be some kind of idiot not to be able to navigation your site.------ Overall ------
I think your design is really beautiful. I love that I can look at it and momentarily indulge myself in a childhood fantasy. The gradients were very well done, however, I feel that you're running into some problems with your links. They just don't stand out enough throughout the site.Using Firefox on Windows | Report This?
Allee's Response:
Thanks for the review, Anna Kirstin. You made a lot of really great points about accessibility, and I really do appreciate that. I'm having a bit of a hard time finding colours for the sidebar headings (aside from white) that will match the entire gradient, but I'll keep working on it. I'll also play around with the links, and maybe adding images to it like you have on your site, so that they'll stand out more.
Again, thank you so much! You brought up a lot of really valid accessibility points that has made me think about the presentation of my site.
Cheers!

on 19th Nov 2008 and said:Oh yay, I was hoping you would add your site to rev.iew.me. I am REALLY looking forward to writing this review!
I was so happy to see your new layout. Not that I didn't like the green one, but I much prefer this one. The colours are just amazing - that's such a rich, beautiful blue, and I love it paired with the purply colour. When I first saw it, it made me think of being underwater.
I love the gradients; I am definitely a gradient fan girl, and they just look so sleek and amazing here. I'm having too much fun scrolling up and down the page, just watching the gradients move. I am a child.
Your header is, as I mentioned on your blog, a little bit large for my screen. It looks fine on my Macbook, but I'm stuck on 1024 by 768 most of the time, so I don't get much of the content. In fact, I only get one line of your actual blog post. However, even though it's a little on the overly large side, I love it. It's very simple, but I love the black details, and the swirls add a nice touch. I also ADORE your tagline, and I've loved it since I first saw it! I do feel like there's too much space between the bottom of the header text and the swirls. It looks a bit awkward, as if you wanted to put something there but forgot. Plus, getting rid of that space would make your header smaller, which would be nicer for people on small screen resolutions. The rounded corners could also be a bit more defined; right now they're halfway between round and not round, and I think if you made them a little... rounder (I don't know how else to phrase it) they would look nicer.
I love your navigation. It's simple, but I just... like it. I love how each link is in its own defined box. The font is also a nice touch.
I don't love the white text on blue/purple. It's a bit hard to read, and Georgia at this size doesn't help. I also think the black links are a bit harsh - they stand out way too much and don't fit in with the overall soothing and cool colour scheme. I mean, there's a good way to be jarring, but I think you've missed the mark here a bit. The navy blue you're using near the bottom of the page would look much nicer while still standing out. Also, the hover isn't my favourite thing. I'd prefer it if the border was only one pixel, instead of the two or three you have here.
The sidebar boxes are really cute, and oddly enough the use of MORE gradients doesn't bother me. I love the feed icon.
ETA: Oh my god, I had over 1000 words and it cut half of them out... the general gist was YOU ARE AMAZING, but I'm sad I lost it all. :(

Clemmie! Thank you for reviewing my site. I was seriously hoping you would, because I knew you wouldn't sugarcoat anything. Sad day that your review got cut out! Rev.iew.me has been buggy for me all day, so maybe something's up somewhere? Buh.
I edited the layout a bit, and implemented a lot of your suggestions. I didn't realise that the header was so big! Eep! I reduced it, though, and eliminated a lot of the space between the bottom of the text and the swirls (you're right - it did look like I forgot to put something in it). I'd change the font colour of the main text, but I don't really know what to change it to :/. I did change the link background to something softer, though, and brought the border-bottom down to 1px.
Thanks again, hon :).

You definitely didn't have to do it, but I'm not going to lie, I'm really super glad you did :).I'm super stoked that you like my About pages. I have you to thank, really :P. I remember going through rev.iew.me and seeing some of your comments on people's About pages on not having enough of their personality infused in them, so I kept that in mind when I was rewriting my pages. So, yes, thank you!
Good call on the description of each previous theme. I shall do that as soon as I find some time. I need to add the green theme, too, but I may or may not have accidentally overwritten the CSS for it, so heh.

Ho-ly crap. This. Is. Fricken. Gorgeous. Blue is one of my favorite colors, so yes, I'm a smidge biased. But it's well-made; it doesn't matter if you don't like the color blue. The gradient is seamless. You can't tell where one color ends and where the other starts. Yay!
Blog and Sidebar
Everything's fine here. Yes, the links with the backgrounds seem a bit off to me, but I'm not used to that, and since then, it's grown on me. Spacing, font size all that stuff...lovely.
The other pages
Girl: Your full name is 7 names long?! Wic-ked! That is totally unheard of. You just redid this page, no? Great work on it. It's very well-written. And... *shudders* at eating monkey meat.
Colophon: Another well-written section. I love how you said that you recaptured this domain from the domain snatchers. How'd you do that? You definitely grew in the graphics department.
Links: I laughed at the Jensen Ackles thing, even though I'm probably the only person in the world who doesn't know who he is. I give you permission to laugh.
Coding
On your site section, you admitted that you're not the best coder. Don't short-change yourself. This layout is very well-coded.
All in all...

I think I'd like it if there were some sort of effect whenever I hover on your site title. I mean, when I hover on it, it just stays the same. I think that even just a slight color change would brighten things up. I'd also like to see some border color change whenever I hover on your flickr pictures. By the way, those are lovely photos.
I also have the same problem with your RSS button. It's looking kinda faint to me so why not make an image rollover to make it pop whenever someone hovers their mouse on it?
Anyway, I love your "Girl" page. It tells me who you are through that little page. This is a bit off-topic but I can't help but mention that that Papasan chair looks so comfortable! Also, how did you find the Philippines? Just asking, since I'm Filipino and all that...

Oh so pretty! The colors look great, the gradients are well chosen and look great. I like how your content area plus the background use the gradient. Nice! The header is nice, the footer is nice, the sidebar is nice, the navigation is nice! And everything is so pretty.Design
Your layout looks great in almost all resolutions (almost, because 640x480 doesn't work too well, but who uses that resolution anyways). Let's say, your layout works great in all used resolutions :) I like the width of your content area - not too big, not too small. The header graphic is clickable, which is nice. Your header image is elegant and frisky at once. The site name is obvious right away.
I think you should add a favicon to your site. It would look similar to the Rev.iew.me favicon (if you go with your current design), which is pretty.Footer
Nice and small. A navigation in it? Nice - I wanted to do that for my site actually. The "back to top" link takes me to the top of your blogging area, but not to your layout top and navigation. I'd use the #container as you "back to top" link.Sidebar
I'm a big fan of the boxed-sidebar you used. The headings outside of the boxes, the content inside. Pretty.
I'd move the "Feed" underneath your "Welcome" box, don't ask me why though. Your sidebar has nice content, not too much, not too less. The Twitter updates have been something I like seeing on sites. Makes me want to sign up for Twitter.
Nothing negative about your sidebar, yet I'd like to see the font size a bit smaller than the font size in your main content.
Your sidebar is dynamic! Big plus!
I see the "Schloss Neuschwanstein" so you've been to Germany.. BIG plus (haha, I kid).Navigation
Easy to navigate. Nice and central under your header brush.Blog
Great. The titles of the posts stick out, the metadata is noted in small letters underneath. Nice gap between the metadata and blog entry. Your comment area are nice as well. After reading "Oh, and I added some brushes, Mommy glitters, PSDs, and blendz, [...]" I wondered where your "for you" section is haha. It took a few seconds (ok, maybe half a minute) until I got that joke. Good one hehe :D
Girl
I don't like your h2. The "Girl" looks a little out of place. It makes your page look like "oh, she used the wrong color in her headings" mainly, because the white heading doesn't stand out. You don't know it's the MAIN heading. I'd either add a border underneath it or make it bold or increase the text size (That does not only apply to your Girl page).Your girl page is nice. I like the "Geekery" page - sweet idea. On your main girl page you write a paragraph on the very bottom of your page, which notes "If you arent bored of [...]". The links you post are titled with "here". It makes me not want to click the links because I don't know where they'll take me. Is it an external page? Is it internal? Maybe change it to something like "[...]you can also read about my RANDOM FACTS or my TOP FIVE of things[...]"
Colophon
Basic information and straightforward. I like how you link the credits of your site in your colophon category. I have mine listed in my "links" department, but seeing yours, I might change that on my site and also list the credits under the domain information.Archives
Nice and organized. I like how you can expand and collapse your content, very neat. Makes your archives page look very organized. I know that your sidebars in your pages (except the main page) don't have headings. When I looked at your archives page sidebar though, I didn't know what the links "Entertainment, Life..." meant. I figured they're your categories, but that might not be clear to visitors who are not that familiar with blogging.Links
Straightforward. I like how you offer your contact information in the sidebar, as well as your profile pages. Your links are sorted alphabetically which is nice. The "melt your brain" link category is a nice idea.Coding and Stylesheet
Your archives and links pages contain a few coding errors, nothing fatal though. CSS is fine. Conclusion
Ah, your site is so pretty, I'd just love to use it as a desktop background. There are a few things I'd change, but that's just my personal taste.
Your current layout is elegant and smooth; very nice to look at. The colors are well chosen.Keep it up :)

I have to say that I am darned impressed by this site of yours. I am hovering between giving a 4 star and a 5 star, if there is a half star I would have given it lol. I love the way the green slowly faded into grayish purple at the bottom. I also like the header image you are using, the white stood out and make people notice your site name. Adding the black "e" in the middle was fantastic as well.Layout:
What can I say..it is lovely. I love the color choice. I like how everything is centered, the round edges of the frame..it gives a very elegant look to your site. And I love elegance :) So a huge plus point from me there. However, I don't really like how you highlight the hyperlinks or titles by putting the dark background for the text. I thought that kinda disrupts the flow a bit. It just looks out of place in this elegant layout. But that could be just me :p
Navigation/Links:
Again, everything is elegantly and simply presented. I have not much problem getting around in your site, it is very organized and structured. You also include the anchor link to help visitors to go back to the top, so another plus for convenience ^_^Content:
I am going to add your site to my list of links soon, because of your content. I love the way you write, the entries you have written so far are witty and funny and interesting to read. I like the way you introduce yourself in the About page, but maybe, just maybe, include some pictures? :) It is ok if you want to remain "visually-anonymous" in the web though. It is nice that you showed how the earlier versions of your site look like. It enables visitors to see how much your skills have grown over the years. The credits page is also great, showing visitors what you have used to create your site.
So like I say, I can't find anything wrong. So after I have finished writing this whole review, it makes me realize that your site is near flawless and hence I have changed my rating from 4 star to 5 star now. Heh.

Very elegant and clean, yet has minor details that really make it stand out. Very nice job.I didn't even notice this at first, but when I scrolled down I saw the big color drop down the page. I thought it provided a really cool affect. Something like that could be really hard the implement properly. That effect is one of the minor details I'm talking about that makes the website layout amazing.
Even your detail with the header is fantastic. Its just the title of your website with a subtitle, and an elegant mark below that. Even so, the little fact that you made the E black, and also the word incoherency, made a huge difference.
Goods headers, navigation, spacing, balance, and other random CSS techniques as well. I'm even studying design professionally (web design specifically, too), and I can say from a professional experience that this is a great design!
Content
Blog - The blog is easy to read and well-written. Then again, its just a basic personal blog. I really liked your November. 16th Post, about the adorable Asian girl. Very entertaining and funny. :PGirl - Provides adequate and well written information about yourself.
Colophon - Nice history and information about your site. I love that you have past layouts up--I looked at all of them! I also like how you listed what tools you used, inspiration websites, etc. I can now see how you were able to create this amazing layout, website, etc. through your own resources. I also like how you listed the WP plug-ins. I hate it when I see a site with a good plug-in, and I can't find it elsewhere!
Links - Plenty of goods links for forward onto when blog surfing! I noticed you go to PostSecret. My roommate loves that site! A bit too much though... :)
Good in depth contact information, etc. too.
I love this site, and it's perfect for a personal website. What I would suggest is adding some tutorials, articles on design process, etc. I'm jealous of your skills!

Thanks for the review, Kayla :). I will probably consider writing some tutorials and articles in the future, but for now, I'll probably just stick to blogging and the content I already have up. I'm a bit too self-centered that way, I suppose :P.

Everyone else has been using gradients since Swimchick was still blending horrid celebrity pictures, but whatever.
In any case, it doesn't matter, because your site is loads nicer than the other one, for one, your title doesn't blind me. It's nice, and edgy and sharp, with just the right amount of contrast. The colours of the gradient are soft and calming, and this is probably my favourite design of yours to date. I admit, I saw you playing around the other evening with it, but you were changing so much around I couldn't even guess what the end product would look like.
Your tag line is absolutely adorable, and it really suits you.
I like the navigation, but I don't like the background colour on the blog headings. It's too dark for this "softer," area of your design. As for your content display area, everything is nicely spaced, your sidebar is uncluttered. It looks very nice.
BUT.. where's the love shown to your footer?! Everything just ends so abruptly, I am shocked. I don't think it needs to have some sort of BIG treatment, I just think it needs SOMETHING. Some sort of detail to finish it off. Even if it's just a simple thing, like... a white wavy (to match the under the sea, watery feel) border at the bottom of the content area, or something.
Your Girl page is very cute, I LOL'd when I read about your interest in Stargate Atlantis Porn (I don't know anything about Stargate Atlantis really, but I can guess what kind of genre it is, and the idea of porn around it is just simply divine). The subpages supplement this nicely.
Your Colophon page continues in your pleasant and witty tone, which I find very easy to relate to.
Aww, you stalk me? (On the Links page now, haha) HOW NICE!

I am so glad that you reviewed my site, Aisling! Thank you :). I knew that you (and little Clemmie) would be honest with me, and not sugarcoat things ;).
I'm a bit flummoxed with the whole Swimchick comparison, to be honest. I mean, aside from the gradient and rounded corners use, I don't really see any resemblance between her layout and mine (and I'm glad you concur). Oh, well :P.
You're right about the footer (or the lack thereof). It's been bothering me, too. I don't really know what to put though, so I'm going to sketch a couple of things out this week, and see if I can come up with something.
And of course I stalk you. You're too hawt and awesomepie for me not to :P.

The background transition from light to dark was fantastic. Your CSS has no errors from what I see. Everything seemed great in my opinion. Keep up the great work! (:

I really like how you said "where incoherency is just sklsjkskjga" that was really awesome, and i think it's creative and fun. It sends out the simple that you have a good sence of humor, which is a possitive invite to a website. It made me want to look at your page content.
I'm usually not a big fan of Twitter, i think it's a waste of page space, but i particularly enjoyed reading what your Twitter had to say. It was very entertaing. I also am not a big fan of flickr on websites either, and i don't quite see why you wasted pages space on it but it's not a big deal. Flickr isn't exactly my cup of tea.
I was looking at your about you page and i thought you did a great job with it. I liked how it had a sidebar navigation. I particularly loved your "five things" page, i thought it was the bomb.
Your geekery was cool. I have been noticing that you use some interesting words in various places. Also you write really well.Overal i can tell that your very talented with webdesign, and also writing. I will definatly have to check by your website every once in a while to you know, check out your blog and whatever updates you can come up with. Great work. Be sure to continue with this fabulous website of yours. Oh and have a great day :)

Thanks for the review, hon :). I was actually originally thinking of making a page for my photography (and I use that term loosely :P), but decided against it - hence the reason why I have a Flickr badge instead. That way, if anyone actually IS interested in looking at my photos, it's right there on the sidebar.

I simply love this layout. It's so sleek and organize. The colors work together so well and I'm not straining to read anything. I really like how your have your navigation links and the bottom and everything is so neat. The side bar is great no extra unneeded things and everything looks nice. No spelling mistakes and you about me is very well written.
Coding
I can't find any mistakesOverall
What can I say? You really deserve this! This layout is the best I've seen in a while. You should make wordpress themes(: I'd use them.Using Firefox on Windows | Report This?
Allee's Response:
Thanks for the review, Liz :). My goal from the beginning stages of designing this layout was to make everything look sleek and organized. I'm glad that I seem to have been successful in doing both.
My coding is still not up to par, so it would probably be a while before I make any WP themes. Wouldn't want to lead anyone astray by my shoddiness ;).

Girl :
You have a reasonable amount of paragraphs about yourself here, but if your like me, you might not be bothered to read that much. But I love your "Geekery" idea where you explain your obsessions, I might do this my self, would this be ok? The 5 things and random facts are great for learning interesting things about you.Colophon :
I had no idea what a colophon was until I clicked this page, I'm guessing it's like a site/domain page.
I always enjoy looking at previous themes/layout, it's nice to see how the layouts have progressed over time, and it really does show that you've improved even though there is only 3 previous themes.
It's nice to see the credits are up to date and you are crediting the sites that link with your current layoutArchives :
This page is nicely set out and is organized in a nice way. I like that you click on the month and it pops down, it's really neat :) the categorizes are also the great way to organize your postsLinks :
Wow, allot of links here, it did make me worried by the header "Frequently Stalked" but I guess that just means "the sites you regularly visit". It's nice to see them organized in alphabetical order, which makes them neat.
The "Melt Your Brain" links are interesting and I've bookmarked a few of them and and number of them I've already heard of, but they are still great links and it's great that your suggesting them.Overall, your site looks great, everything is organized so neatly. Your layout has lovely colours and works well with your content. Keep up the great work!

First, thank you so much for taking the time to review my blog!
Hmm...it's a bit odd that my layout reminds of you Swimchick's, since the only thing we have in common are the use of gradient and top rounded corners. Our colour schemes aren't even the same. Oh, well :). This layout was actually inspired by Neonglow and Choleric. You should check them out, if you haven't already. Totally awesomepie people :).
I really probably should change the "Frequently Stalked" heading on the Links page, but I can't really come up with anything wittier. That, and to be honest, I really do stalk those sites listed - in my feedreader, that is ;).
Thanks again!

- Georgia has always been my favorite font and you use it beautifully in this layout!
- Nice large font size, quite a nice change from some of the previous websites I've seen on rev.iew.me.
- What a wonderful color scheme!
- As far as I can tell, you're a pretty organized person when it comes to your website.
- Your grammar is flawless, which is a nice plus.I honestly can't think of any faults. This is honestly one of the best sites I've seen so far. Nice job.

Thank you for the review :). I was thinking of the ocean (hmm...Cuba :P) when I was coming up with the colour scheme, so the light to dark gradient was definitely intentional.
I'm a huge fan of Georgia myself, and I'm glad that I did it some justice!
