A personal blog and.. that's it. It's fairly new so you know the drill: Be brutal. I'm a big girl, I can take it. :)
I'd appreciate it if you not criticize the layout since I didn't make it. But I guess if you really want to you can.

    Layout: Your layout is different so far from all the layouts I've seen. It's different in a good way. The layout is pretty neat, neat, and organized. The colors are amazing and the part where your site name is, the effect is pretty nice that reflects and make your blog site name stand out.

    Sidebar: I really think the navigation links part of your sidebar kind of big. I mean compared with the rest of your blog, the font is bigger than necessary since your sidebar isn't that easy, it should be made to match your blog and how big the font is on your site. I feel the color of your sidebar navigation links out of place since everything else is not green and there is not a lot of green to show it could match something within your layout.

    Content: You don't have that much content on your site, all I can say it's well-organized and everything is neat.

    Overall, your layout is the best feature on your site due to the fact that it is different yet very appealing to the eyes.

    I like how you've split your information up on the 'About it all' page by putting everything on its own page but also giving a little introduction to it on the 'About it all' page. I think it would be great if you added a credits page, I'm sure you've used a couple of plugins so it would be nice to give credit for them.

    As for your actual blog entries, I love them but feel that it would be beneficial to your readers if you showed more than one blog entry on the main page.

    Overall, I love your website and there aren't many things you could improve on, maybe make your own theme?

    Thanks.
    I'm actually in the process of making a credits page, since the plug-ins are brand new. :)
    I'll just quote to my response from below:
    "I'm not too keen on showing more than one blog entry per page. It might just be a personal preference of mine, but I tend to write large blog entries so I'd think it would look a little too cramped."
    And as for making my own theme, I'm not too great at designing. But maybe someday I'll make one!

    Your main navigation is very sleek. Actually, the whole layout looks very sleek; I haven't found anything yet that shows you ignored some small detail, which is awesome. I love the bright green links in the main navigation.

    I love how you mix up the text, using different colors, ALL CAPS or lowercase, to add interest to a layout that isn't all that complicated graphic-wise. That's my biggest problem, actually, is spiffing up a layout while keeping it sleek.

    One thing that does bug me is that the white swoosh at the bottom does not touch the bottom of the page; there's a strip of gray background underneath. Because the left side of this white swoosh cuts off and has a flat bottom, having a gap between it and the bottom of the page looks unintended.

    I personally don't care for links that have a transparent/same-color-as-container-background background that suddenly have a different background color on hover, and you use these throughout your main column.

    I like the sense of humor shown in "Learn more about this freak". :D I love finding an easy-going seeming site owner. Such a line makes me want to read your about page.

    Oh crap, I just read that your layout is by some other person. :( That sucks! Your content seems pretty normal, so I'm going to have to go with an average rating. Darn. Well, whoever Maria Garza is, she did an awesome job on this layout.

    Haaa, joking. I’m not in love with you or anything but jeez I don’t think I’ve ever read an about me page that I can relate to so much. Even your birthday is just a day after mine >.<. The ironic thing is, I live in Scotland.
    Okay, you’ve said not to review the layout so much so instead I’ll just tell you how much I love it :) There is only ONE thing that I dislike about the layout, and that’s the way the footery bit jerks off to the left - I think this would look much nicer aligned with the rest of the content, if it’s possible to do that.
    I’ll skip ahead right to your About page now - it’s a good page, but the only thing i could ask for would be more. A lot of the information on this page is on the About the blogger section, so maybe adding some more to this page, seeing as this is a personal website with no specific visitor content in it (other than the blog)?
    I’d suggest maybe writing some more paragraphs on the page, then adding the Facts as a seperate page and adding maybe a couple more pages - Favourites, Personality, History (website wise) … the list goes on! Let your creativity run wild :) (how corny :s) Oh, and why is it you’d like to live in Scotland? Other than the paid loving (which made me lol a lot, by the way) I know we’re awesome here but just out of interest?
    I loved your About the Blog page - it wasn’t a drone on and on like a lot of sites. Nice work!
    On your Contact Me page, the link for manual emailing isn’t working…
    In the Links section, you have a good number of sites linked. Most of them I frequent myself but I didn’t know of some of them - I’ll check them out! I’d suggest, maybe to make this page seem a bit less bare, adding in why you like the sites, maybe just a little paragraph or a sentence underneath each one?
    Well… that’s it! There’s not a whole hell of a lot more to review, really. I really love your site and appear to have fallen in love with it, by means of RSS subscribing!

    The footer bit was my bright idea to put in there. Go figure! But I've moved it over a lot. Hopefully it looks a bit better? :)
    I'll be honest and say that Scotland was just a random choice. It was the first thing that popped up into my noggin.
    On the contact page, that isn't meant to be a link.. I'm not the sharpest of the bunch, but If I were to put a link to my e-mail address wouldn't spam bots attack moi?
    A bit iffy on the paragraphs as to why I like those particular websites. I just like their blogs. :s What else am I supposed to write?
