Cadence

Cadence is a new personal blog site. It contains very minimal content at the moment which consists of Poetry and Photography. I am very open to constructive criticism and have realised that my old layout was pure evil so it has been completely re-vamped!

    Layout: I like that your layout is centered, but you did not make it so you cannot really get any credit for that. You just change your test alignment from 'left' to justify. I will look so much more neater. I am not a big fan of the lower case headers and the crossed out link decoration. I think you should change the sequence of your navigation to: Blog, Owner, Cadence, and then Creations. It has a better flow.

    Content:
    Owner - This page seems alright. You have included lots of information.
    Cadence - This page looks a bit messy because you have two different font sizes and three different font styles. You should keep the same font style and size for the whole page.
    Credits - List this page in alphebetical order.

    Conclusion: Your website is fairly well organized although there is not much on it anyways. Try adding something to your website that will allow you to be more interactive with your visitors. Also, it would not hurt to try and learn some basic CSS so that you can code your own layout.

    When I first opened up your website, I knew that you were very creative and imaginative. Unfortunately, your stripes background was hard to look as it looked like an optical illusion. The "boxes" where you put most of your content should have a border because without it, your site looks a bit of a mess.

    Logo: This needs to be removed or remodeled. The colors are too colorful and does not match the the overall page. This logo might also scare away the visitor.

    Layout: Your layout needs to be centered immediately. Your site does not look good in high resolution monitors such as 1440 x 900 because there's so much uncovered space to the right.

    Navigation/ Links: You have a creative mind :), but your links are blinding when you hover over them. A solution is to edit your CSS file and make the text decoration for the hover underlined. This will make your site more professional and will be more appealing to your guests.

    Conclusion: Overall, you did pretty well but try to use common fonts next time.

    Hey, I'm Shelbie and I'll be reviewing you today. :)
    I hope that any criticism given isn't taken in offensively and I hope you find my review useful.

    Layout & First Impressions:
    When I opened the tab and first looked at your layout I was pretty much blinded... the stripes killed my eyes. There definitely not easy on the eyes, if you wish to use stripes in a layout I suggest you edit them and lower the opacity. It will help stop it be so distracting and uncomfortable for your browsers. Anyway, moving onto your header. I like the concept of the idea but the colours are definitely too bright and the way it is set out isn't at all appealing either. Your layout definitely needs work.

    Coding/CSS:
    Your font is readable, the colours are simple and not to 'out there' - I like your CSS style. Perhaps colour could of been added too it but I don't think it's necessary for this particular layout. On your sidebar I noticed each section has been crammed together, what happened to space? It's always good to leave a clear line so people can easily identify little bits. I'm also not a fan of your navigation hovers, is it necessary to have a different colour for each? Especially bright colours. I also think your normal links should be either bold or given another colour. To find them I have to hover my cursor over, which isn't very practical. Lastly, I think you should add padding to your content and sidebar, the text goes from edge to edge and it looks untidy - I really recommend you change this.

    Content:
    - Personal: I like your about me page, it's informative and has a variety stuff about yourself. The only advice I have for this page is just to section off things, have little sub-headings to give people an idea of what category of things you are moving on to.
    - Cadence: Again, you have well presented information about your sub-domain and an in depth reason about the name - good for curious visitors. Your credit page is neatly presented, well done. As is your Affiliate Application. However, I do not know why you have linked a page to your about page twice - it isn't necessary for both really because it is easily accessible via the navigation.
    - Stuff: A lovely selection of poems and photography, well done! However, on your sidebar I would name this section Portfolio, visitors might get confused and think it's graphics and resources.
    And back to the begin, a nice selection of stuff!

    Overall:
    I like your site, you have an interesting selection of things on there. However, I think your coding and layout definitely need more work. Practise makes perfect, just remember that. :)

    Ok, I'm not good at these whole introductions, so let's just get started.

    My first impression:
    Your header image is big. Very big. It takes up too much of the screen. Your text on your header image is weirdish... I don't like how you have red text behind your main text. Your background is too busy. It almost makes me dizzy. I don't like how you have your sidebar up much higher than your main content box. That should be changed somehow. Also, on your cutenews entrys (oh no, cutenews. That's just like you screaming "hack into my site!" I suggest you change to fanupdate or wordpress.) I don't like how you have your title. At first I didn't even think you had a title, because it was so far up by your header image. It almost blends it. And, you have so much info before your blog, it fills up too much space. I suggest changing that up a bit.
    Your sidebar. It's a little to thin. I think you should make the width bigger, and then it'd be a lot easier to read. Your section labled "it" has some fixing up to do. First of all, I don't like how it's on justify. It makes the spacing messed up, and overall makes it look weird. Your writing is confusing. It sounds really unprofessional. I think you should change it up a bit. Doesn't I'm 14, and very sarcastic and overdramatic. I get very hyper, and I love reading and writing. I also love gossip girl, 90210, the killers, aaron johnson, summer, chocolate, surfers, and skaters. I hate Miley Cyrus, HSM, the doctors, the beep test, winter, rap music, 50 cent, p.hilton, l.lohan, and just about every disney star under the sun. sound better than what you have? But, I do think you have too much info about you on the sidebar. Put that info into your "me" page. Speaking of your "me" page, I think you should label the link to that better. "Let's play private detective..." is somewhat confusing.
    In your "move" section, I think the links are too spaced out. Lessen the line height a little bit, and it'll look much better.
    Your "for me" section. That's not needed at all. You can put those links in your bookmarks, if you have to. It's doing nothing but confuse your visitors.

    Let's move on to your "Stuff" page. You only have two things on there. I think you can just move those two links to the sidebar, and it'd work out a lot better. It'd be quicker for your visitor, and then you'd have more space.

    Poetry: Your poetry is actually pretty good! I'm not an expert on poetry, but I liked it.

    Photography: Your photography is beautiful. I love the city, so I loved those pictures. I suggest doing a little editing on the pictures, to make them look better quality, though.

    The Candece page: At first this confused me. For a minute, I thought your name was Candece, but I was wrong. This page is all right, nothing special, but nothing too bad.

    Your Personal page: I liked it. I found it very interesting, and well written. From it, you sound like a cool person. ;) There are a few grammatical mistakes, but hey, nobody's perfect. :D

    And that's about it! Although I may of sounded kind of harsh, I think you have potential! I think you should work on your layout a little bit more, and your set! It was a pleasure reviewing your site! (:

    First of all:
    Thanks for the reviews everyone, I really appreciate, I didn't really realise that my header was blinding people cos, well everyone I asked said it was good. Tut, Tut. I am working on a new layout (well in my head for now)
    Secondly;
    I'm really stuck with the coding thing, so I will try my best to sort it out very soon. Just right now I don't have the time (or patience).

    Thanks again, and no none of you seem too harsh, its all your own opinion and good criticism ;)

    Hi, this is going to be my first review :) Just so you know, I prefer non-copyrighted layouts and everything that is original will worth more points and you'll get a higher score. It doesn't matter to me how much content you have, I prefer quality over quantity. So, let's start!

    Layout:
    Awesome idea to use the Andy Warhol style! I just love his work! However, the colors are way too bright, in my opinion. For my art class, I've done in the past some research and analysis of a couple of pop art paintings, and trust me, no need to use blinding colors. Yes, Warhol used really bright colors for some paintings, but for a website, it isn't a really good idea. Instead, you could get inspired by some other paintings from Warhol, like the Marilyn Monroe ones. There is still contrast, but with softer colors. The pictures you used are copyrighted, though :( How about using your own pictures? I know that it takes more time, but it's worth it. Moving on... The background. Same thing than the layout. Use softer colors, please! The background combined to the layout is just too much for my eyes, sorry. It's too distracting. Overall, you had a great layout idea that is original! However, soften the colors!

    Organization and CSS:
    A centered layout, perfect! That way, users with all resolutions will view your site correctly :) Congratulations for using a medium size text too! However, add a little more padding on the sides of the columns, it's going to be easier to read the text. Great choice of colors for the CSS too. It isn't blinding but there is still some contrast. Oh and maybe use grey instead of black? Because black, white and red all together is a pain for the eyes. Also, the navigation is blinding me too! The extra bright colors when I hover a link... S.O.S.! However, overall, you did a great job in the organization of your site :)

    Content:
    I like your writing style, it's entertaining and fun to read! Too bad that I'm distracted by the blinding layout and background... Your about me page is really great! I've learned a lot about you ;) The page about your site is good too! However, you may want to consider aligning the subtitles on the left, because it looks a little messy now. Now the stuff page... I truly enjoyed reading your poetry! It's personal and not so many sites have some, so woot woot for that :D I hope that you'll continue posting some poems, because you're really talented! :D The photography part was great too, but the shots are not exceptional. However, good thing that the pictures are not all photoshoped :) It's rare nowadays...

    Conclusion:
    You said your site was fairly new, which explains why there wasn't much content. However, what was featured on your site was original and great, so congratulations! I think you have great potential :) As I said before, though, you lost your points because of the layout. Layout isn't all, but it's what makes the user click the red X or not... Good luck with your site :)

    Ooh, trip-py! And not in a good way either. That background makes me very dizzy. You know what? This is unbearable. *turns graphics off* Yes, it's that serious. It's not just the background, the graphic itself is too busy. You have the same four pictures colored and in black and white. It would have worked better without the colored pictures, or just stick with the red (or whatever other color), black, and white scheme. Or even better, make it monochromatic; it's in the neighborhood anyway. But all of those colors--no.

    I won't even go there with the images you used--I suggest that you use something that isn't copyrighted.

    Blog and sidebar

    That sidebar is way too small. There's a rule with sidebars--they should be no less than 200px, ideally 250px. It rarely works otherwise. Your navigation is way too far down. I like to use priority here. Navigation in the sidebar should be the first or the second thing people see. So in your case, it'd come before your blurb. I don't particularly like how the letters go from all lowercase to uppercase in your navigation, but that's small. The "welcome" section doesn't need to be centered.

    You lack padding in the sidebar and the blog, especially on the sides, so it all looks smushed. I think 15px for the blog works. 5px for the sidebar at least would work. But you really need to widen it up. At least you have the font size at a readable size. Good job on that.

    The other pages

    Personal: You have a mixture of lists and paragraphs. I'm not a huge fan of listing things, but since you combined with paragraph use, it brings out your personality a bit more. This is an informative, long (which is a good thing personally, so don't worry) page. Good job. The italics, bolds, and underlines annoy me a bit, but I'll explain that one later.

    Cadence: I didn't know what this was before I asked a friend of mine who named her site Cadence as well. All non-sequiturs aside, thank you for not making us click to another page to see that information. You don't need a link to your bio page though. :) This is typical. You can try very hard to make a site about page interesting and still fall short, so don't worry too much about that.

    Stuff: You call this page a portfolio when I open it up, but it's still called "stuff" in your navigation. It should be called portfolio. However, I will say that since you have poetry in one link and photography on another, you should separate the two and put them on your navigation. It will actually eliminate this page that has nothing on it other than the links.

    You write well, so I hope that your writing section is expanded further. Same thing with photography--you have a pretty good eye, and with more practice, it will only get better. You should use some of your photography in your layouts.

    By the way, "clear" isn't the best thing to describe going back to your main blog. I would call it "home", "blog", or "main".

    Coding

    Before I look at your source, I should say this: you needn't use different colors for bold, italicised and underlined words. You really don't need to use underline for anything other than links.

    You have a DOCTYPE! Nice going! You have 33 errors in your coding. Most likely easy to fix.

    I see a lot of divs with styles defined in it. You can use your external stylesheet to style these divs and give them ID's or classes. This stuff here in your body tag:

    "margin: 0; padding: 0;" bgcolor="#FFFFFF" background="" topmargin="15" bottommargin="0" leftmargin="100" rightmargin="auto"

    Those, can be used in your CSS:

    body {
    margin:10px auto 0px 100px;
    padding:0;
    background: #fff;
    }

    Or something along those lines. Your sidebar div:

    "text-align: justify; position:absolute; width: 180px; left: 713px; top: 15px; background-color: #FFFFFF;"

    Can be written like this in style.css

    #sidebar {
    float:right;
    background: #fff;
    margin: (whatever you want this to be);
    padding: 10px;
    width: 250px;
    }

    You can use floats rather than absolute positioning to put position your sidebar and blog.

    <B> tags should be <strong>. <i> tags should be <em>. Underlining text is discouraged.

    I am aware that you're using HTML 4.01 rather than XHTML, but it's not very hard to do the conversion. However, whenever you're ready, you should read on w3schools. It will also tell you that classes cannot be defined more than once, as you did in the sidebar.

    Tables shouldn't be used on a layout. Using lists and div floats give you the same exact effect.

    You have a renegade <p> tag at the bottom before you reach the main content. And this:

    <link rel="stylesheet" href="/style.css" type="text/css">

    is at the beginning of your main content page. You don't need it there for it's already on the top. This:

    <div style={position: relative; overflow: hidden;}>

    I don't know exactly what that's supposed to be, but it shouldn't be there either. The ending body tag should be at the bottom near your footer. It should be like this in your footer:

    </body>
    </html>

    You're missing the </html> by the way. Once again, you need to read up and redo your coding.

    Your CSS is way too long. It can be compressed by combining all of those margins and padding. Shorten the hell out of all of that!

    All in all...

    I've gone through 50 reviews (well, 51 counting this one), and not once did I have to turn off images for the whole time I was reviewing. The main image is bad--too many colors. Very few people can pull off a rainbow layout, but since this isn't one, the rule is no more than 5 colors (and even they should complement each other). But the dealbreaker wasn't that--it was the stripe background. That was way too much. I would have used a solid color (or something less distracting).

    I hope that you expand on your portfolio section. You have something there. You have a site that can be great if you put more in it. Exploit your strengths, overshadow your weaknesses. You got the rating you did because the layout isn't appealing at all. No one would stick around for very long to experience the rest of your site, which isn't bad; it just needs more loving. I wish you luck on that.

    PS: Step away from Cutenews. This is a warning.

    1280 x 1024 resolution

    The layout to be honest just wow makes me dizzy, the colors are too bright on the header image and the background has way too much contrast on those lines. I don't like looking at it for more than a minute. If you are going to use stripes or something like that in your background make sure it's toned down so that it doesn't distract the visitor from your content. Also watch out from uber bright colors in your layout, they make it hard to look at the screen for long.

    I've noticed a trend with sites that use cutenews, there is a lack of padding on all the text inside the layout. You should fix this so that it doesn't run right into the edges of your boxes. It makes it hard to read otherwise. Kudos to you though in making your font a decent size.

    This is nitpicky but I noticed a ton of spelling errors and small mistakes in your latest blog entry, you should go over and re-read your entries a couple times to make sure that it doesn't happen so often.
    Stuff like this 'Addison now I that I need him' 'voice just soured ' should be soared. As it is it makes it sound like she had a bad voice.

    Your links don't stand out that much so I would suggest making them a different color, bolding them or something like that. Just so that they are easier to find when they are in a paragraph of text.

    Your main content container, I think you should make a certain height for it so on the pages where there is not much content it won't shrink up to almost nothing. It would look better I think. And the last thing I would suggest is to center your layout. Especially for those using a larger screen resolution so it's not clinging to the left side of the screen.

    Ok, now that I've beat that to death I'll move on to your content.

    The About section is good, nothing extraordinary about it, it works. Plenty of info and it's fairly interesting to read. Your site section is complete too, has everything you need to know about your site pretty much. Your stuff section is very small, it'd be nice to see more photos and writings here. Maybe add some resources or something. The photos are nice, it'd be spiffy if you added a description to them like where you were when you took them. Stuff like that.

    Oh and something I just noticed, watch out for on your front page, where the page links to past entries are, it's hidden down in the background you should maybe make a box for it to sit in or include it in the layout container, because I almost didn't see it.

    Little bit on the coding, I know it's been brought up but I figured I'd take a peak at it too. I would avoid using center tags, you can easily set this in your css. If you want your "h1 " text centered just add that on to your css
    align: center;
    I noticed a lot of paragraph tags that aren't closed as well. You should always try to remember to close these. Your page may not view as it should in some browsers because of it too.

    I'm not sure where the javascript is being used...I don't see anything in particular that would require java. Is it for your main site navigation? If so I would suggest you using css to code it and avoid unecessary javascripts. There's a great tutorial here on that. http://www.tutorialtastic.co.uk/tutorial/semantic_css_block_navigation

    Overall you need to work on making a layout that isn't so busy, try to validate your coding, and get some more content up.

    I exploded. O.o The layout name is very appropriate but the layout is.. a little much. A little too much.. I will go into detail on how we can tone it down a bit without losing your original intentions/creation later in the review. Yeah my first impression was that my eyes hurt.. D:

    Coding:

    When I do my reviews I always run the sites through the W3C validators. Basically when your site is valid it means that it is going to look (relatively) the same on every browser, which is important. You don't want someone using say, Firefox, not to be able to see your site because you made it on Internet Explorer. I just made that up for an example of course, but you see what I mean right? I ran your site through the X/HTML validator but your layout is currently not set up to validate. This can be easily fixed! The owner of this site in fact has a wonderful tutorial on how to start into the world of valid coding.

    It's a good idea to start with XHTML 1.0, you can chose Strict or Transitional.. I use Transitional personally. :) Anyway, don't stress over which is what and who when where why how. Haha! Just start off by viewing the XHTML 1.0 Transitional or the XHTML 1.0 Strict tutorial.

    If that confuses you too much (which believe me, when I first started validating it DID. It confused the heck out of me!!) let me just get you started. The very first thing you must do is declare a DOCTYPE. This will be the very first line of your page, even before the <html> tag. It's purpose is basically to tell the internets that your page is going to be coded as XHTML 1.0 Strict or Transitional. To make things easier, from now on I will just assume you are going to use Transitional. If you want to change to Strict, that's fine.

    So the first thing in your coding you will want to have is this:

    <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">

    Now, you need to take your <html> tag and change it to this:

    <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">

    This will be your basic set up to get you started. After that, Jem's tutorials list all the little things that will need to be changed to accommodate your newly found awesome coding technique! For example, anytime you use <br>, you will need to change it to <br /> . Anytime you use an image you will need to change it from something like this:

    <img src="blahblah.gif">

    .. to something like this:

    <img src="blahblah.gif alt="" />

    You might be thinking, "That's a lot of extra work and I don't care!" Let me advise you that you should care, it will make your site better and more people will be able to see it.. That means more hits, visitors and comments! Trust me, it is worth it in the long run. It helps you improve, too!

    The next thing I would like to address is your CSS. CSS is my favorite thing to work with, even though it CAN make me throw fits and stomp around my room. :P Your CSS is also not valid but to validate CSS is 10 million times easier. :D The validator has given me a list of errors and I can address every single one with you and they are a SNAP to fix!

    Before we get started though, there are TONS of unnecessary things in your CSS. Let's start with this. In the body part of your CSS, you are telling your page to use the font Tahoma, the font size to be 10pt, the color to be black and the line height to be 11pt. That's good, you need to tell it what to do at first. However, once you have told it that in the body section, you do not need to keep telling it over and over and over again throughout the rest of your CSS file. Unless it is something like a textarea (where you will have to tell it again, stupid textareas!) you can just go through your CSS file and remove all of the extra:

    font-family : Tahoma;
    font-size : 10pt;
    line-height : 11pt;

    .. This is going to drastically reduce the size of your CSS document. It's so very cluttered that I am having a hard time going through it, so I am going to open a text file, put your CSS in it and remove all that unnecessary stuff so I can go through it better. :)

    Alright, now that I did that I got a closer look at a LOT of things that you are going to be able to just delete because they aren't doing anything anyway! I will address them all with you because you can't learn if I just do it for you, right? :D

    Let's start with the i section of your CSS. Right now (after I deleted the whole font family, font size and line height) it says this:

    i {
    color: #FF8600;
    font-weight: normal;
    text-align: none;
    border-bottom: 0px solid #CDBDBE;
    letter-spacing: 0px;
    }

    First of all, text-align: none; is not valid. Second, you don't even need to tell it where to align. You can remove that line completely. Next we have font-weight: normal;. Italic text is not going to be bold so you do not have to tell it NOT to be bold.. That's silly right? So delete that line as well. Now you have border-bottom: 0px solid #CDBDBE;. If it's border: 0px, that means there will be NO border showing at all. So this line can be deleted because it's not doing anything anyway. The last thing wrong with it is letter-spacing: 0;. The letters will not space themselves unless you tell them to (which you did not) so remove that because it's not doing a thing either.

    So this is what your i section should look like now that it is correct:

    i {
    color: #FF8600;
    }

    LOL, see how much of a difference that is? :D So now I would like you to go through your CSS file (I think it would be best if you edited your CSS along with me, that way you can clean it up the easiest way possible!) and find all the things like:

    - letter-spacing: 0;
    - border: 0px blahblah;
    - text-align: none;

    .. and I would like you to delete those from your file completely. I am going to do that now so I can once again see better.

    Ok, now we still have a couple of problems with the next two things. Your 'u' section is almost right, but we need to change a few things about it. Here is what it should look like now:

    u {
    color: #005368;
    font-weight: none;
    text-decoration: underline;
    }

    First of all, font-weight: none; does not exist. If it was originally bold and you wanted to make it un-bold, you would say font-weight: normal;. However, an underlined piece of text won't BE bold, so just delete that line completely. As a matter of fact, if you have font-weight: none; ANYWHERE in your file, delete it.

    Next thing is that you are telling an underline to have an underline. That does not make sense, does it? You don't have to say text-decoration: underline; because it already IS underlining.. because it's an underline! LOL So remove that.

    Your correct underline should look like this:

    u {
    color: #005368;
    }

    :P Same thing applies to your next part, the 'b'. You do not have to tell it font-weight: bold; because it already IS bold. So remove that line and your 'b' section is done.

    Next thing I wold like to address your h1, h2, h3, etc settings. First of all, anytime you use one of these they are going to make your text bold. So if you have font-weight: bold; in any of these parts, remove it completely. If you were wanting it to be UNbolded, you would need to put in font-weight: normal;. So go ahead and remove all of the font-weight: bold; from the h1, h3, and h4 (where did h2 go?!).

    Now, on those three sections you have text-decoration: none; on there. You don't need that at all, so please remove it from all three. You have it listed twice in h1 and h4.. lol!

    Now that we have gotten this far, I would to introduce something called CSS shorthand to you. Basically it takes things that are pretty much the same in CSS (like padding-right, padding-left, etc) and combines them to save time and space. After the changes I mentioned above to your h1 section, this is what it should look like now:

    h1 {
    font-size: 15px;
    line-height: 16px;
    color: #ffffff;
    text-transform: uppercase;
    text-align: right;
    margin: 0px;
    padding:.30em 0 0 0;
    margin-bottom: 0px;
    padding-bottom: 0px;
    background: #000000;
    letter-spacing: 2px;
    padding-right: 2px;
    padding-bottom: 10px;
    color: #ffffff;
    background: #000000;
    background-image: url('');
    background-repeat: repeat-x;
    text-align: right;
    margin-top: 0px;
    border-bottom: 0px solid #000000;
    border-top: 0px dotted #f4f5d8;
    border-right: 0px dotted #efefef;
    border-left: 0px solid #020b30;
    }

    WAAAAAY messy still. Let me show you what it should look like if it was optimized and using CSS shorthand:

    h1 {
    font: 15px/16px;
    color: #ffffff;
    text-transform: uppercase;
    text-align: right;
    margin: 0px;
    padding:.30em 2px 10px;
    background: #000000;
    letter-spacing: 2px;
    }

    .. See how much difference there is there?! Anyway, I just checked and my review is getting WAYYY too long.. Let me just leave this CSS alone and let me tell you this: If you want my help some more, message me or email me or something. I would be glad to walk you through it some more.

    So when I started using CSS shorthand, there were two guides that helped me. Jem's Short CSS and this one. It's REALLY simple so don't be afraid to try it!

    Also I noticed that there were a bunch of things in your CSS file that just kept repeating themselves. Such as you would have text-align: right; or whatever listed twice in the same section. You don't need anything in one section listed twice and that is just making your site load slower.

    Ok I promise that is it for the CSS. For the other coding, let's wait until you set it up to be XHTML 1.0 Transitional before we attack it. Plus other reviewers here will. I need to get moving along.

    Design:

    I think that there is way too much going on all over the place, so I am going to just list some suggestions here real fast:

    - Either make the rainbowish Andy Warhol header image with pale colors instead of crazy bright colors or make the background image pale grey and white stripes instead of almost black and white stripes. It's VERY blinding.. oh my poor eyes! :P

    - You are in serious need of some padding. Do you see how all of your words are bumping the edges of the boxes you have them in? That makes it really hard to read. I use 10px of padding as a general number, that way nothing is bumpin'.

    Final Thoughts:

    You should probably brush up on coding before you do anything else. A lot of reviewers on here (well, the GOOD ones anyway) are going to be looking at your coding. They are going to see the state it is in and they are going to give you bad grades. :( I hope you will try out the things I mentioned because it really will help you out. There is a long list of other things to do to that CSS file.. and I didn't even look at the rest of the coding so who knows about that!

    Just keep in mind, when in doubt go to Tutoriatastic. Jem knows her stuff and she makes it fun to learn by using her witty humor throughout the tutorials.

    Remember! If you get stuck and need some help, come to me! I like to help people! :D

    noorziia's Response:

    Thanks a million for the review, honestly! I haven't made changes as yet but I will in the future. The style sheet wasn't originally mine (as you may have seen on the front page) but as I went through and altered so much of it, i think i just screwed it up :S

    I really do plan to go through it all (especially the general coding too, thats in serious need of work) once i get the chance too. Once again thanks for the review, you clearly put a lot of time into it =]
