But someone doesn't have to tell me that because I could feel it. It just gives off this soothe and calming effect the hues of blue are associated with those words.
I like your header. I love using brushes, overlapping, and blending. It's fun. Your name of the site it just fascinates me. I just like how it sounds. :)
One thing that I have a problem is, is with your navigation color. White over light blue is straining to the eyes. Maybe use a darker blue. Or the dark purple you used in your banner.
I enjoy browsing around your site because you have so much stuff to show: photography, graphics, layouts, contests, and an e-book. I read part of it and I was laughing when you mentioned about Brad Pitt in Interview with the Vampire. He is one sexy beast. Haha. You have so much for your visitors. That's a plus.

Very nice. The designs look cool together. But I think you should make your site title in maybe a little larger font and not put that background behind it as if it's a cut-out type thing. What is with your header? Way to go blinding people – it's kind of bright – like I'm going to dim my screen for you. I don't like it, it's weird – it's like a random snowball at the side with birds and patterns and... like, a yarn of wool or something under your title? Maybe go for something a bit more coherent. Well, your disclaimer put me right off your site. If the images of celebrities (bleck) – if any images do not belong to you, then it is illegal to redistribute, manipulate or display them without express permission from the original owner, regardless of whether you intend to profit from them or not. It amuses me that you even say that you don't claim to own them – it's pretty dumb to think that saying you don't own them is going to make it better. “Please tell me before you press some sort of charges†- sounds like you know you're doing wrong then, eh? Chicken of the law, but not chicken enough to take the stuff down? LOL.Why don't you have spaces in “thebestfriends� It looks so childish. What also looks childish is your random bolding and italicising of words. People don't need that much emphasis – it just makes it difficult and annoying to read.
It should be “aka I'm a neat freakâ€.

Everyone knows the definition of “aesthetic†and “intoxicationâ€. If they don't, they need to learn to use a dictionary – you shouldn't have to define it for them.

Why is your navigation listed in alphabetical order? It would make much more sense if it were in order of use, or interest.

Cute, personal section, organised nicely.Do all these people know that they're on your site? Do you have their permission to post the pictures on the internet, other than in places like Facebook which have privacy settings?

I've never heard of an e-book like this before. Nice idea, keep updating.If you don't have a list of the characters, then don't have a heading saying “characters†though. No point telling people what they're missing.
Coding
Your coding and CSS is invalid, which needs to be fixed – only one error in your CSS though, but your Doctype is incomplete. Most errors seem to be easily fixable.
Conclusion
I don't like your site – it just doesn't do it for me. Your photography and pictures that you do own are pretty good, but the rest sucks, really. It's hardly sophisticated, more like you're trying to be popular and failing. It needs a LOT of work.Using Firefox on Windows | Report This?

Ahh, you know what I think of this layout :D It's so harmonic and comfortable to look at. The colors go together so well, there's nothing that clash or is in stark contrast, which goes very well with your header. It's cool that you haven't used colors from the 'red' section of the layout in the CSS, because it sort of makes the header stand out more. I like that your have a little description at the top, instead of just links. And it's good that you've put your disclaimer here instead of a huge paragraph in the sidebar. You have a lot of information on yourself, it really feels like I get to know a lot about who your are :) It's good that you've combined lists and longer text. The book page it's a good idea - it makes me want to read those books. The affiliates page is organized and nice. Your Apply for sites are organized and easy to understand with the forms and well written instructions. And wow, you're offering your hostees a lot of space! This is great. It's great that you have credited a lot of people. It doesn't seem like you've left someone out here. The explanation of the site name was interesting to read. And a Question site is a good idea. There's lots of really good stuff here! It's good that you use Lightbox. The Photoshop section shows that you got a lot of talent. Is everything in the Stock section photographed by you, seriously? Wow! I especially liked the photos of the moon.Content
There's a lot of stuff here, which is great and attracts a lot of visitors.Icons - it's good that you've explained how to use them. The way you've put them, with the links that stays constant as you view the different subjects, is really good and organized. There really is a lot of icons, and they're really good.
Wallpapers - I like the thumbnails. It's also awesome that you've made them in all resolutions! I love the Dave Annable one, not so much the others. The Greyside one doesn't work.
HTML/CSS - You should maybe put these in the tutorials page? The CSS tutorial is great!
Brushes - these are good. The flower ornaments one seem awesome, the others doesn't tempt that much.
Icon Textures - The ones you have are kind of similar but again, I'd like to see more. Diversify the icon textures!
Gradients - I think it's great that you offer gradients! The default ones in photoshop aren't really exciting, and there's not many places that offers gradients.
Icon textures - there are great! I'll definitely use some.
Textures - the same with these. I've been looking for light textures like those for a while. All of these are original and pretty, and I can imagine they are awesome on graphics.
Photoshop tutorials - maybe you should put these too in the tutorials page? It might seem confusing that your tutorials are spread over several pages. All of these are really good and useful.
Layouts - these are awesome! It shows that you've worked a lot with the codes. I especially like the Jude Law one. They're also very organized, with the way they're all in separate pages, and you've explained them all.
Articles - ahaha, these are very entertaining.
Cooking recipes - a little random yes, but really sweet too 8) It would have been a little random of you'd just got some recipes from the net, but you've made these yourself and they're really great as you've put in a lot of great, and appetizing, photos of the whole process. I wanna cook now!
Contests
These always attracts a lot of visitors, and are really fun to join, so it's good that you got these!Gallery
Firstly, the way you put the years look really great. I got a promise already here that your photography is good. That is proved when I look at the photos, you really are talented here. The photos of your family/friends are sweet, and the landscape/nature ones are brilliant. Your site has an impressive amount of content, not just visitors freebies, but so many quirky things and details. It's impressive, and it was entertaining to read though your whole site. The content is really great too, though some of it is just almost there. The way you've written it all shows that you are an genuinely kind and interesting person, and your site is just as interesting. Thanks for your review. I know my tutorials are a little out there, someone pointed that out, I'm actually going to work on them. I fixed the Greyside page so the links work now. I recently changed domains so they still had my old links on them. Eek. I was thinking about taking some of the wallpapers down because they're not that great. Well, despite my slow internet connection at the moment, your page loaded quite quickly, thats a good visitors attraction, because people don't want to be waiting for a long time for a website which could possibly be a pile of trash, right? I love the spades of blue used. I love using mellow and neon blue is my layouts, and I'm totally a fan of your usage of mellow blues. This layout is kinda a twist of a Swimchick/Outspoken-Kate layout, but I'm not marking your originality, because theres something in your layout which is different, and I can't quite put my finger on it, I might pick it up a bit later.
Unlike other reviewers, I read the blogs which are written, because people don't want to go to a boring blog. I see you've blogged about Rev.iew.me, I'd be very happy if I got the reviews I was getting. Someone had the cheek to give me 1 out of 5! Well, it can only go from here. Your blog are lengthy and in-depth, a smidge boring, but not too bad.
Well, the whole layout in general, including coding and whatnot, is going to be reviewed now. Well, what I look for in a site, is hopefully the sidebar the same length as the content. Well, thats not whats done here, the content is a whole lot bigger than the sidebar. I think decresing the amount of blogs on show should help. But the little footer is rather neat.
Now I will be reviewing your pages. This will be a bit better sorted out, as the paragraphs aren't the best to understand in bitty situaions ;]
About: Well, I like how you've split them all into pages, I see why you've done this, as the pages are quite lengthy.
Art: I love how you've split these up, the first category pictures quite funny, it made me laugh anyway.
Content: I've noticed the 'Resources' is used in the URL. Resources are usually links to the websites which offer content. I like how these are set out. I think you kinda got the Tutorials and Content mixed up with the HTML/CSS part. Theres a moderate amount of content, which is good.
Contests: Theres only one here, maybe this page could be tied in with the content, as like a challenge for bored visitors?
Gallery & Videos: I just did this together, as my fingers are starting to hurt. Very well layed out. Thumbs up :)
Undeniable: Wow, you've got a book? Its really good, I read the first chapter. This is really good for visitors who love reading :)I love the name, generally because my fanourite band are the Scene Aesthetic. This site is a well deserved 4 out of 5. Congratulations =D

For the Visitors:
You have lots of goodies that keep visitors and graphic designers entertained. For instance you have a contest page where anyone can enter and have fun. That's really good and covers the visitors.
Your content are great. It has graphics, resources and tutorials. Your icons are very creative, though I really would want to see different pictures used instead of just the same picture and just croping them at different angles, especially the celebreties icons.
Your photoshop resources are great, except can you make the brushes, gradients and the icon textures not downloadable? Because for one thing some people don't use photoshop and use, like Paint Shop Pro. That would definitely make it more conveinient.

Thanks for the review, I actually don't care about people using PSP, it sucks. hah okay just kidding, I will get working on image packs & the icon textures are ... jpgs so anyone can use them.
First of all, you are using Internet Explorer, fail on your half btw, but try using mozilla firefox, maybe my navigation links will turn out differently. Again, I've fixed it a zillion times & I'm not going to touch it anymore, it's actually fine & pretty dark so just change the contrast settings on your computer.

Your header image is very pretty, and I love the colors and brushes that you used to bring everything together.
After the header, the bottom part of your site looks a little dull, but I have no real complaints against it. Maybe you could continue that blue that you used at the bottom of the header for the entire page? And then, maybe create lighter boxes to house to text? I think that would look nice, if you just want to play around with it.
On my computer, the navigation is a little hard to see. Everything is perfect except for the white font you used. Try making that a little darker.
Other than that, your site looks great! Keep up the great work. :) I love your site!

Thanks for the review, I actually do have a light blue housing my text. You might notice it if you tip your screen a different angle or maybe you have a high contrast setting. & I've changed around the navigation links so much that I'm pretty much not going to touch it anymore. First I made the background too bright then it was too dark & now I think it's actually easy on the eyes but apparently you can't see it. So I give up on that. As long as people can hover over the links & actually read the links, it's fine.
I'm still trying to find a code that will make the footer a little smaller.

For your 'content' section, the headers aren't consistent. The words 'content' is on the left, but the other headers (graphics, photoshop, layouts, etc) aren't. I think you should either have different header styles, or keep it consistent. I also think that your link & header CSS blends in too easily & matches too well. Try to use more contrasting colors.
In your 'icons' section, the links are a bit hard to read. Again, use more contrasting colors. You have some really nice icons though, so thumbs up for that.
For your brushes, I would suggest also making image packs for those who don't use Photoshop. A good handful of people I know use PSP, so I think it'd be a good idea.
Also, in your 'content' directory, just put tutorials once. It seems odd to put it twice on there. Just have all of your tutorials on one page, it's easier that way, instead of having a separate page for photoshop tutorials & misc tutorials.
Your tutorials are good though, they look like ones I would use.I'm not going go to through every link since my internet's being really slow, but from what I have seen, overall your site is really nice! You definitely do have lots of talent; great work! :)

You have plenty in your about page. I didn't look through it all but I browsed your info and the site info, looks about standard for what most personal sites have. Your art page looks nice, I would suggest you make thumbnails for your photo fun page so that they don't all just load. It takes a while and kind of bogs the browser with all those animated gif images. Your PS art is nice, I do see a few celeb blends but the original stuff far outweighs those so kudos to you. Yay for stock photos! I like to see things like this on sites. :)
Moving to your content, you have a lot of it, I am browsing the icons and they look very nice. Watch out though you have a lot of copyrighted images in there. I'd suggest staying away from those and working more on the original designs you have. Your articles were amusing to read and your tutorials looked nice.
I think you should combine your photography into the art section since it is in a sense art and you already have some photos in there.
You have some nice photos though and it 's all organised neatly. I found it interesting that you are writing in e book. I don't have time to read it, but it's something I have not seen on a personal site before.Overall I enjoyed visiting your site, your layout is pretty nice and you have some great content, the only thing I would suggest about it is avoiding celeb images. Keep up the great work.

Thanks for the review, I actually do have a background behind my content, it's blue-ish like you said. You might not be able to see it if you have a high contrast setting on your computer..or if your monitor is tilted a different angle. & I've chosen not to combine the gallery & art because the gallery isn't like photography, it's more just a bunch of pictures I've taken of friends & family. They're not very creative so they don't belong in the art section.

You got some good content I see. I don't have time to scan through everything right now. I do not, however, care much for your use of celebrity photos. All these kind of photography are copyrighted to their respectful owners, and they are not your to use in graphics unless you have permission to use them from the copyright owner.
I can tell you have spent time on your site, and I give you a good 3 stars with room for improvement. :)
