    Review Specs:

    Windows Vista™ Home Premium™ on a 22” Acer X223w at 1680x1050
    Viewing on Firefox 3

    Upon Entrance:

Your site looks very professional and neat. Your background image looks grainy, but I can get over that being it’s not really seen as you’re mostly scrolling through long blog posts. Hey, you’re a talker – who isn’t on a personal website?!
The blog layout used here isn’t like what I’ve seen, which intrigues me. The title is also very creative (love the creativity) and it seems like you know what the hell you’re doing on the web, unlike most webmasters who go through layout after layout undecided in what direction they want to take. A blog is a very successful thing anymore – I congratulate you on passing this part, even though there isn’t much “passing” in the entrance…

    Images, Coding & Layout:

As stated, your background image looks grainy – but that’s easily overlooked. Your site seems to stretch to any resolution so that’s good! However, the news titles can be shortened so that it doesn’t over-take the entire layout and make that the focal point!

Let’s take a look at your coding:

Your coding is superb! You’re using an external stylesheet and have proper coding everywhere! You indent where needed and make it look professional even though it’s nasty text that no one really looks at!

I can’t quite review your content as it goes over my head. So I’m just gonna pass you there. Going to take a look at some of your pages to make sure nothing is broken so I’m not made a fool of my overall rating.

“Art Gallery” – you are a very talented artist. Not only are your works amazing, but you still keep that urge of organization!

“Art In Progress” – it’s continuing from your blog but still organized and defined well in what you’re talking about and not loosing focus!

“Design Gallery” – just opened this page. This appears to be your place where you show-off your pre-made layouts? Business cards, posters, etc. That is still amazing work, you are really showing off what you can do!

“Design Gallery In Progress” – opened it and it still looks organized, but the last two images on those two blog posts appear to be somewhat broken – they’re intruding on where your date, time and posted by slots are. Try fixing that.

Overall: I give you 5 out of 5 stars!

Hi :) I'm going to be reviewing with firefox on windows vista.

First impression of your site has sort of already turned me off. While individually, the images that you've used may be nice, it just doesn't work here. The background is...well I don't really know what to say to it, it just doesn't fit with your layout in general. I can tell that you've tried to spice up the white of the background, but it failed. Instead of that washed out sort of background, try stripes or something of the same color scheme. That would bring the design together much more than the current background.

The big site title on the top right is a little...well it looks like you haven't put a lot of effort into displaying your site name. Either change the font-family in your css from the plain boring font to something fancier, like georgia, or use imagemapping and photoshop your site title.

While your art is gorgeous by itself, it's not exactly the type of image you can use in web-design. It's just too serious. Instead of trying to go for a super complex layout, try doing something really simple, just with colors and gradient. You're trying to showcase your art! Not smack in people's faces as soon as they arrive on your site!

At the bottom, there's a huge amount of space there and you've only managed to write one or two sentences. This just gives the whole thing a lazy look to it, like you were too lazy to fill in that box. Don't do that, use all of your space! In that footer section would be the perfect place to put some previews from your gallery! Or other links! Or even a little about the site section! Just fill up that space!!

Wow! I've looked at your portfolio site and the design is actually quite nice! Why is it that for this site, you're lacking in effort?

Valid XHTML but there's just one error in your CSS, probably something that happened when you changed some things :)
    Easily fixed.

A good about me page, some pictures for use to look at and nice long paragraphs.

    Pretty good usage page.

WOW! Once again, you're NOT BAD at graphic designing! You're actually pretty good! Why is the layout right now so short of your usual standards then?!

I've looked through your top navigation and everything looks good, just I think you should include a link to your art gallery and design on the top. Not everyone will notice that little link at the bottom-left.

Once again, I am amazed! You have serious talent both in your art and design! Display that talent with your layout! Because first impressions decide whether or not people even stick around to see your talent!

Overall, your site is pretty good! The art is amazing and you have really good pages. The only thing that still rankles me is the layout, you can do much better! I have to dock stars for that.

First Impression: If I had not clicked in with the intention of reviewing, I probably would have clicked out, as nothing is eye-catching at first glance.

Layout and Navigation: The background is a little old school and reminds me of the types of backgrounds everyone was using about 5 years ago. I think there could be more of a design to it, but it is well-organized and the navigation is easy to see and use.

The Blog and Updates: I like that you update often and that you use correct spelling and grammar. I also like how you bold each section that you are about to write about (example, bolding Resources in your 1/5/09 blog), because if someone is only looking for information on one part, they can easily find it.

Sidebar: I like that the sidebar isn't cluttered, but on the other hand, I thought it could use a little more, perhaps a mini-blurb about the site. I know you have the blurb at the bottom, but it took me awhile to notice it.

About Section: I love the random facts, it's always one of my favorite parts on websites that have them. I also like being able to see into your dwellings.

Resources: The layouts you have are great! I'm not personally an anime fan, but they look well coded, pretty, and not just thrown together so you can say you have content. My favorite was the Ichigo/Bleach purplish one.

Links: It's great that you link to such a detailed Credits page and I love how organized your links out are.

Overall Impression:The initial layout and look would not have kept my attention, but I liked what I saw once I started surfing.
