Validation
I see that on the footer you have XHTML and CSS valid. When I clicked on XHTML there were a few errors on your site. It looks to be something minor so just make sure to fix that. CSS is valid *claps*.Header
I really like the way your header looks and the little blurb that says something about you. There is just one problem with your grammar:"I come from a country called Malaysia and is currently residing in the beautiful tropical island of Singapore". I suggest you change that sentence to: "I come from a country called Malaysia and currently reside on the beautiful, tropical island of Singapore".Sidebar/Footer
I see a lot of information on your website. You have archives, categories, and tag cloud. Maybe you could just pick one of them. It seems like there is just too much with all 3. It makes your site look more cluttered.Content
I really like your photography. Nice colors. I also like that you write about yourself, and even something that interests you in the news.About Me page
I suggest you change untypical to atypical... I think it just has a better ring to it.
"After living in for twelve years in my home country," might sound better if you change it to: "After living in my home country for twelve years,"
"and is currently studying in NTU." this would sound better if you removed the is.Tutorials
I really liked that you included tutorials. I wish I had Photoshop CS3 to try them all. :)Overall, I really liked your site. I think with the minor changes I mentioned it will be great.

Hey Andie, thank you so much for your review :) sorry about the invalidate XHTML - I was fiddling around with a new sidebar feature and forgot to check it thoroughly, heh. Now it's XHTML Transitional valid. Thanks for the notice!
Oh, and I will be making amendments to the problematic grammar you've mentioned. Thank you so much for your help.
I have to agree that there's a little too much information on the front page - I'm still trying to see what can I do with the extra information that are not very important - so far, they all look pretty crucial to me :) oh, decisions!
You don't need to have CS3 to try out the tutorials - I've done the steps in CS2 but as long as your version of photoshop has the feature mentioned in the tutorial, you're good to go :) no worries!

As always, Im awed by all your template designs. Ive been following your blog for a couple of months now and I think every single theme you made is AWESOME.
Your photography skills are soooo sooo good too! Ive been to the Gardens over and over again and Ive tried to duplicate the picture you took over and over but when compared, they just dont seem to be as good as the ones you took =(. I guess I need more practice then.
And the best thing is your blog posts! Theyre always interesting and I look forward to all your posts day after day. *ahh I admit I stalk your blog daily during the holidays but now its more of weekly*. Just hope you post more and more personal stuff since its a personal blog after all.
I also like the fact that you like to comment on every single thing about my post! Haha it makes me feel like you read every single inch of my blog over and over again =)
Hope to see more of you and your talents!

So first of all, it's taking quite a long time for your site to load...hmmm...maybe some of your pages are really big? Or you've installed to many plugins. Either way, try and optimize your pages/posts please. From a visitor's point of view, I would have closed the window before I even had a chance to see what your site had to offer. Your CSS is pretty clean but using Clean CSS could improve your speed a bit.
Also try using either wp-cache or wp-super cache, this will definitely help loading time by a couple of seconds.
oh, well I just read about your host. Ignore the above then :PThe design is quite nice, very minimalistic but appealing enough to the eye that I don't find it bland and boring. The blue is really calming while your logo (I'm assuming) adds a dash of color to the whole design. The scrolling blue box (the one that scrolls sideways) is really nice :D I love how smooth it is and you've managed to effectively place miscellaneous things there so they won't crowd your layout. *plays with it...wheee* Under resources however, "there are more stuff than this", it's doesn't really sound right. I think putting "There's more than this" is fine.
I love all of the little rollovers you've included in your layout, they really are quite fun to play with :D
I like the CSS of this design too (I'm quite a CSS nit-picker) and the only thing that I would suggest for you is to not have that many blog posts on the front page.It feels too crowded and I'm a little overwhelmed at the amount of scrolling I have to do to get to the bottom. Even though you have a link that takes you to the footer, most people wouldn't notice that. Use this in your wp index page to control the amount of posts displayed on the front page.
Just change the category and number of posts. I would suggest just one since your blog posts are quite long :)
Everything is validated. Yay :)
You really like taking pictures and it's demonstrated by the immense amount of them in your blog. However, the loading time it takes to load the picture thumbnails is enormous. Instead of having such large thumbnails, make them smaller. 100x100px would be good.
Wow a really long about me page! But since it's a personal website, it's quite good :D I especially love the photography you've displayed. You're a pretty good photographer! (I really like the kitty one)
The past themes are also quite interesting to peruse, I really like Alpha. All those funky shapes :)
Haha, maybe you've just acquired a new stalker!OOh tutorials! Even though your site is a personal site, there are tutorials! Lovely, all of them are quite original and I especially love the Glossy Logo tutorial. Everything is just really clean and glossy.
Rest of your content is also pretty good, no spelling mistakes and tacky images.
The photographs in your gallery are pretty good too. Nothing much to say here.
Overall your site is pretty good, there's a good amount of information about you to make it personal, while there's also enough resources that you could probably submit your site into the tutorial section.
One thing that I've noticed from looking at your past layouts though, is that all of your layouts have a similar style of that kind of glossy finish. This is just my opinion, but I think that you should experiment a bit more with your layouts, take some risks and step outside of your comfort zone when designing.

Hi kaykay, thanks for the review :)
1. Slow loading time - I'm sorry about that, and it has been plaguing my site for quite awhile. I suspect that it's because I use quite a handful and plugins and that my host server is growing slower due to overselling (ie hosting too many sites on a single server), so I am planning to switch servers once my hosting plan expires this June/July. I did consider using a caching plugin before, but since many things on my site involves generated content (eg twitter feed, recent comments), I am a little reluctant to sacrifice updated informated for first time visitors, hehe.
2. The phrase that sounded wrong - I didn't realise how wrong is it! Thanks for pointing it out :)
3. Too many blog posts - I have only three blogposts per page, I guess it's the sheer amount of text and photos in each post that made the loading time slow and a scrolling hell for the fingers :P I shall keep in mind to utilise the 'Read More' tag more often as of when needed. Thank you for the advice!
4. Photos - Thanks for the complements! It's just coincidence that the latest three post has an unacceptably large number of photos because one of them involves a tag requesting me to post the 10 photos of last year :) and to increase visibility I greedily *weak smiles* ignored to hide them after the 'Read More' tag. My bad!
5. Tutorials - Thanks again. I write tutorials as a past time hobby but lately university is getting so much that I don't have time to write anymore (plus, I ran out of ideas hah!). I am pretty much torn between which category should I place my blog under but since I post mostly about my life I placed it under Personal :P
6. Boring Web2.0 styles - You're spot on! I've got the feeling too that I need to switch to another kind of layout instead of sticking consistently to the glossy and minimalistic feeling. Maybe I shall try on the painting/pastel kind in the future.
Thanks for the suggestions and advice kaykay! I really appreciate your help. Thanks!
