   Hi Roz! I haven't done any reviewing in a while, so you might have to bear with me while I dig up my reviewing skills.. I know there are here somewhere... Oh! Here they are! :)

   So before I start I just want to say wow. I really love your layout. The colour scheme is soothing, nothing too harsh which makes your eyes wish they were behind their eyelids and the texture you have given the layout throughout really adds a nice touch. Also the picture; is that you? If so, that picture really suits the layout and is just the icing on the cake. Oh nevermind, I just read your Domain section and found that it is a model - oh well, it still looks awesome.

   Layout: As I have just stated I really love it. The theme of texture and art are carried through to all of the elements. My only criticisms would be that I was a bit disappointed by the main navigation and title. I would really like to see more than just static text for the title of your website - the title of the website should something which says "Wow! I'm here! Look at me and stay!". Maybe use more of the texture and make the title an image which looks like the text is embossed on the paper.
   In regards to the navigation, I would hope for at least more of a hover effect. The slight increase in brightness is very hard to notice, this is the same with all the links really - I just think you could be more creative with them.

   Code: Running your site through a validator (just the homepage) I get 3 errors - these can be easily fixed. They appear on the images in your 'Currently Reading' section of the sidebar. They are simply missing alt attributes.

   On the other hand, congratulations - your CSS is perfectly valid! :D

   A suggestion to improve your user experience is on the search form. When I click into the input field, it would be nice if the text cleared - this could simply be done with Javascript. If on the input of your search form you just add:

   onfocus="if(this.value=='search pointlessly?'){this.value=''};" onblur="if(this.value==''){this.value='search pointlessly?'};"

   This basically means if when the user clicks into the field and the value is 'search pointlessly' it will clear it - ready for the user to type their search. If by any chance they then click off the field and it is empty, the original value is put back in. It is really nice to have and your visitors will appreciate it.

   Writing: I did not read through the whole of your website because at the end of the day I really like your website and want to keep coming back for more! Reading through your 'Domain' section was particularly interesting and the reasoning behind the name was one that caught my eye. You sound a really intellectual and down to earth young woman - reinforced greatly by your layout as well. :)

   Finally I would just like to say good luck and keep up the good work. I did just realise that the layout has been adapted from a Wordpress, so again I am a bit disappointed - but I think you should really try to make one yourself. You obviously have the skill to do so. Try it, you might be suprised. ;)

   Layout
   I am totally digging your layout! I love the footer! It's so pretty! I' not particularly fond of how pointlessly.org is just text, I think it would look better as an image, but I think that's just me. The sidebar seems kind of long to me... I also don't like how you have a link to your wordpress log in just hanging out there. It just seems like an open invitation for people to try to hack you... I still love your footer! :) Anyways...

   The Girl - I wish there was a quick glance at you, but you have this in your sidebar so this is the in depth stuff. Nice. Wow, you put in a lot of effort as a child! Memorizing vocabulary? Becoming opinionated was an interesting read. The quote by Kennedy seems a little light to me. Religion or lack there of also interesting. Pretty much have the same beliefs as me. Nothing much to say on about your other pages other than you sound like an interesting person.
   Domain - This page is well organized and well written. :)
   Exits - Just a page of links. Nothing much to say.

   Overall
   Hm, I didn't mean to make this review so short. I just don't feel like I have a lot to say about your website. I really enjoyed your layout, and reading about you. Your site is well organized, and your blog entries seem to be well thought out. I think you should make the quote color a little darker to stand out more, but that's really the only suggestion that's stuck with me. :)

   Layout: I know where this layout was based from! It's one of my favorite Wordpress themes called Autumn Forest by Geek With Laptop. To be honest, this layout still looks strikingly similar to the Wordpress theme. The left of the footer image doesn't seem like it blends in with the background. I noticed you left that yellow stain on the sidebar image which looked fine on the Wordpress theme, but looks out of place on your layout. Your layout consists of a lot of brushes that you obtained from other websites. Where's the creativity there? My suggestion would be to make your own brushes so it wouldn't seem like every part of your website was taken from somewhere else. The images and the text seem to bleed together on the blog entries with images. Consider using some padding.
   
   The Girl: This section is looonnggg. I'm sorry to say that I really didn't bother to read the whole thing because I was intimidated about how long it was. My suggestion would be to separate it into pages or have links that go to a particular section.
   Quotes: I really like this section! It has a lot of good quotes and gives readers a better insight on your personality.
   Domain: I love that you have the images for your current and past layouts. I really like seeing how people progressed. My only suggestion for this page is to add a little bit more content about your site history.

   Overall
   From looking at your blog and about page, I find that you're a pretty insightful person. Your blogs are interesting and I love the cooking recipes. My main problem is with the layout and how it's not very original. I don't mind that you used a Wordpress theme. I just find it disappointing when all the brushes and everything were taken/based from somewhere else.

   Not bad, I like the whole textured paper idea. It's been before but this looks nice, and I haven't seen it in this style yet.
   Only thing is since it has a lack of colors it lacks a bit of appeal. Nothing really draws me in, maybe try adding a little bit more color to it, like gradient a color into your background somehow maybe. I really like the idea of a photo on the side like you have.
   The coffee stain... I guess that's what it is, is a nice touch, but it really stands out against the rest of the layout since it's pretty much the most saturated color in your layout.

   Your font is a decent size, THANK YOU! XD Though I would suggest changing the color of your quoted font. It's just a tad too light making it hard to read against your light background.

   You have the same thing I did with two navigation bars. I found it kind of unnecessary to have two so I would suggest leaving the one at the top of the page and removing the one that is down in the right hand column.

   I haven't got anything more to say about your layout. I do like it just maybe spice it up a bit with some color.

   Ok your about me page, and right off I see you have something in common with me. You don't like writing stuff about yourself and would rather people put out effort to get to know you. That is a big thing for me. Anyways this is a review so back to reviewing. XD

   I really like how you have your about page broken up. Easy to read and all that jazz.
   Your about page is one of the most complete ones I have come across thus far.

   Lotsa good quotes to look through. I liked several.
   Your domain page is nice, past layouts history are all great and again I like how you have broken up the page into sections.

   Your book page is nice and I liked that you gave a short opinion on each one that you have finished. I don't see this that often on sites. So nice work on adding something fairly original.

   Overall
   You have a nice site, interesting blogs, nice content and a good design. Just maybe add a bit more color to the layout and I think it would be perfect. ^^ I enjoyed looking through all your content and wouldn't mind stopping by again soon. Keep up the nice work!

   Oh and one last thing I wanna add is I like the name of your site!
