   I wasn’t sure why people were giving you low ratings, so here I am, my personal reviews are very short because there’s not much to discuss, I’m just giving my opinion. It’s on BlogSpot which explains the top part. I’m really impressed by the image, it’s beautiful really says there’s more to life than just reviews you know xD its so amazing, was this picture taken by you or did you find it? Where is that place, in America hopefully! Anyway, I’m stunned by the image; I’m going to forget about the review. If the background were to be black, I think that would make your image appear more interesting, it looks like you’re trying to set an evening mood, when it’s basically a night theme here. I like your side navigation, your image could be made bigger if you ask me but that’s a good size to link. I like how you have your profile hanging after your name. Neat idea. The side menu looks good; I like the hover links and the active link color, its bright and a strong contact against the black. I wish there were some yellow bold links or something. The counter is cute and I don’t like bravenet because they offer you stuff you could really use but then they make you link them. There are other counters you could use other than bravenets you know. The main section isn’t bad either; its well spaced out and has nice images to look at. You should add the year on your dates because I doubt you’ll have your site for only 1 year. Add years so you know I wrote this in 2009 or 2006. I like the font you used. It’s a good size to read on an all black site if you make the background match. You have a lot of neat entries, songs, images, and poems, very personal I suppose and creative! Keep up the good work Aaron.

   When I first opened your blog(it's different to what the screenshot is but then your explained in your blogs you keep changing it) I immediatly noticed the backgroud. It doesn't look right. I suggest you change it to something either plain or colored or patterned. if you do something patterned you would need to change your header though because two patterns against eachover won't look good.

   On mentioning your header, I liked it, I thought the pattern of it was really good. (: You should consider changing your font in the center and try changing the poisition of it to be in the bottom right hand corner or something, because it doesn't look good in the centre.

   I like the colour blue but you have too mcuh blue, which makes your site look 'tacky'. (Sorry, it's a harsh word and I was having a "lack of a better word moment.") Trying inviting some new colors and deviate away from the blue.

   The electric blur archives are distracting, and seen as you have logs all the way back to Septemeber 2007 I suggest having a drop down menu if you want to make ALL your blogs avaliable. This will give you more space on your home page and be more user friendly. :)

   I saw this blog was in the PERSONAL section of this site, and that you actually call your site personal but there is NOTHING personal about your *excluding the content of your days events* I want to know about Aaron, what he is like, what he studies, if he has any pets. Not creepy stuff, just general shizz that makes peopele more likely to read and be interested in you. It's only a suggestion having an 'about me' section.

   Hi, I'm Cristina and I'll be reviewing your site in the latest version of FireFox.

   My first impression was too much blue and he background is VERY distracting. Instead of having the background repeating everywhere, I suggest centering your layout, have the background image on repeat-y and set the background color to a solid blue.

   The little blurb at the top under "Aaron's Blog" was a bit redundant. If you're going to include a tagline for you blog it would have been better at just, "A place where Aaron can write what he wants when he wants." Also having the text and then a banner both saying "Aaron's Blog" is redundant. I get it, it's Aaron's Blog. Just pick one! XD

   It's is very difficult to distinguish text from links because they are all the same color. I suggest adding some kind of text decoration to your links so visitors can tell which is which. Also, it's hard to tell where you blog entries start and stop. I thought "Pause More See More" was the subject for an entry and it took me to a Twixx page. :x

   The blue banners you have throughout the page don't really jive well with the site. Instead play around with the CSS for headings; mix it up with some different fonts. It will make such a huge difference!

   You definitely have a lot of work ahead of you. Work on using CSS to develop your site and fix coding errors. You mention you're not good at coding so I have two resources for you to try.

   1. TutorialTastic! - Jem has an excellent assortment of tutorials that will help you out.
   2. Html Validator Add-On For Firefox - This add-on is my lifesaver! It tells you what coding errors you have and how to fix them.

   Layout: Although you said your layout is your main priority, your layout is poorly done. It is not centered and there is too much blue. Try adding a different color to it to make it look more appealing.

   I do not think that those pictures you used for headers on the sidebar are necessary. They just make your site look even more amateurish. Instead, try using good old text headers.

   At the top of your website it says 'Aaron's Blog' in grey text and then under it there is a banner that says 'Aaron's Blog'. You should remove one of those, however I do not find either good-looking. Try designing something a bit more appealing to the eye. Also, you should try centering it so that it is above your content and your sidebar.

   You text looks like a good size and font.

   Technicalities:
   For the following paragraph under your 'About Me' header you should make the folloing changes:

   I'm Aaron. I spend a lot of my time doing many things, that's why I decided to make this blog. I hope you like it. If you do, feel free to comment. Also, visit all the different areas and look out for new sections!

   You should make the following changes to the paragraph under your header:

   Aaron's Blog a place where Aaron can write what he wants when he wants. Basically, it's his online diary of all the events that goes on in his life. This blog is full of fun pictures, music, and stories!

   I removed the last sentence because I think it was unnecessary.

   You should change the format of your dates to:
   Thursday, February 19, 2009.

   You should list your links in alphabetical order. Also, instead of writing 'My Myspace:' and then the link, you should just write 'Myspace' as the link. The same goes for the rest of the links listed.

   Conclusion: Your website still needs a lot of improvement. Try focusing your time on creating a more visually appealing layout.

   First Impressions
   A bit messy, to be fair. The fixed background is just a block - it doesn't continue, leaving a big white space at the side which is kinda annoying. The colours go quite well together but it's a little bit dull, and you overdid the sidebar a little bit.

   Layout
   Hmm.. Not my idea of a layout. As i see it, a layout is a graphic showing off your skills to give a better impression of the site. If the visitor see's a boring layout, they will think the content is boring. A little 'siugnature' header with 'Aaron's Blog' written in a plain font automatically puts the viewer to sleep. Maybe use the free space at the top of the page to fill it with a big exiting header which reflects your personality and what you are offering the viewer. Also, please fill in that horrible while space at the side, it looks untidy. I understand you are using blogger, and i dont have a clue what it is or what users are capable of producing, but if you are any more proffesional that what you are producing then go the extra mile. Dont be 'just another blogger site.' If your layout is your main priority, then you have a lot of work to be doing.

   Content
   Your blogs are interesting and funny to read and i would love to read them again in future, but they are messy and i don't know what is where, which is quite a shame really, they are really good! I clicked on the 'View full profile' Page, i kinda don't like the idea of being taken out of the layout. Appart from that, there was no other content, which kinda sucks. Prehaps you should brush up on your graphic and coding skills and take your blog elsewhere. By doing so, you could add more pages, start an affialate programme and get more readers. Content is important and with your blog being... just a blog... beside being really well written and full of information, its kinda pointless.

   Overall
   Layout needs work, blog could be a little tidier, oh and did i mention i dont like the big headers on the side bar? they take up too much room and clutter it, and there are many other things i have mentioned that need improving. Beside that i KNOW you have potential and you could get really far. I can see you have put lots of effort into the site. well done x

   First Impression

   For someone who says that your layout is your main priority, I was expecting something a lot better than this. This is a lot of blue, and there's hardly any variety with blues. Throw in one more shade of blue, and a gray or something to offset all that blue.

   I'm also using Opera, and what I see is a huge white space on the right side. Not good. Your background reminds me of what could be a wallpaper. Points taken off there. But I like the little alien things on the far left. Those should be pronounced more (even though they don't go with the rest of the layout). Create a layout with just them if need be.

   And music that autoplays=immediate closing of your site. Drop the music player--it's tacky anyway.

   Blog and Sidebar

   Your sidebar is too thin, and is smushed. You need more padding, especially on the sides. Those image titles are way too big. I don't think they should be there at all. It makes it extra cluttered.

   As for the blog side, it's the same thing with it being smushed. You need more line height and padding in this case. You also should up the size a smidge on the font. It's viewable, but I have crappy eyes, and I'm not the only one.

   Other things

   Since there isn't much here (and since you can't do much anyway using Blogger), I have nothing more to review other than your layout (bad) and your blog's contents.

   -Capitalize. I's that refer to yourself are capitalized.

   -Proofread. You have a few misspellings, typos, and grammatical issues around.

   -You do switch up the blog ideas some. Good job on that.

   -Focus not on your Google Rank (it may be important, but it's really not that serious, compared to the rest of your site). Focus on the aesthetics. Right now, I just don't get your layout with all of the blue, the white space, and the big sidebar titles that make everything extremely cluttered.

   Coding

   Your site won't validate most likely because you're using blogger, but I checked it anyway to see if there are some errors you can fix.

   Ye gods! I've seen sites that have 200 errors. You have twice as many! I see one mistake that can be fixed. You have an apostrophe in your meta content, namely in "Aaron's". That second apostrophe closes the attribute, and leaves every other letter in the dust, starting at the "s". Now, the way to fix this is to get rid of it. But that is the longest description for a site that I have seen in my life. So yes, you need to shorten that.

   You also have a few renegade <div> tags missing their end tags. Check out your code. It can be why it doesn't work properly in Opera.

   All in all...

   A too-blue layout, whitespace, a cluttered sidebar. Your layout is your main priority, but it certainly doesn't look like it. Anyone can toss code in and come out with the same result. Certainly you can do better than this. Focus more on aesthetics and making things work before worrying about your Google rank. You have the regular blogging thing down, but that means nothing if the layout isn't attractive.

   Something else you might want to consider in the future is being hosted on a private server as opposed to Blogger, which also contributes to code mangling. There are plenty of people who host. You just have to seek them out. Good luck!

   I'm not good with coding... i can tell you that now... i wish i were...
