   this is a fantastic use of design and layout. it is really awesome
   i wonder though if you did it yourself or used a template

   i think your logo at the top, which is currently just text - i think it could be a logo image that is more brand like... logo like, know what i mean? =)

   maybe you could put a picture of yourself in there with an introduction before the fold so that it pushes the blog part down a little bit

   other than that, my first impressions where all positive. very good site and nice design work here! cheers! =)

   Thanks :) This is actually a premade layout that I added my site name too because there was space left by the creator to do stuff like that.

   First Impressions: The name "Shimmerin Angel" is very cute and pretty original.

   Layout: It's pretty good although when I look at the bottom, I note that it's a premade. Yes, the layout is pretty but I think you should make your own layout or get a heavily custom layout (I offer them at my site at http://luscious.co.nr/). You are validated CSS (http://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/validator?uri=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.shimmerin-angel.begrudged.org%2F&profile=css21&usermedium=all&warning=1&lang=en) so you should add the button to your site...but your XHTML isn't; there are 19 errors so you should fix those (http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.shimmerin-angel.begrudged.org%2F&charset=(detect+automatically)&doctype=Inline&group=0). The colors are very pretty and blend together very well! The headers are very pretty as well! Though it is a premade, I love the layout that you have on Shimmerin Angel! So err if you have fix anything about your layout, that would be great! ^^

   Pages (I will only look at the pages because I have no time right now to look at the subpages, content, and etc.): Your "About Kayla" page is very well written (at least I think so ^^), there is everything I could possibly want to know like the Zodiac signs, personality traits, and Foods. When I looked at your content, I actually thought there were going to be graphics but articles and guides are ok too I guess. I love the little contests that you have set up for your visitors and guests! :) They are nice... :P I also love the 101 Things in 1001 days! I never thought of adding that or anything; that is very original! :D "Contact" wouldn't be a big page that many people would go to. When I thought of Contact, I thought of a form, not your link back buttons. I'd add those in a "Sitely" page instead of that page. Your site map is...regular. There's nothing fantastic or horrible about it!

   As for the pre-made, seriously, you don't want to see me make graphics lmao I suck. Sometimes I get a friend of mine to make a layout for me, but I've fallen out of practice for coding and I couldn't code myself out of a paperbag right now lol. I know I need to get back to practicing so I'm hoping that because I'm taking a computer course next semester that'll give me an excuse :)

   The home page is beautiful, I fell in love with it at first site, you’ve really don’t an outstanding job with the css structure and the overall template colors! Since I just got home from my awful day at work, I feel kind of happy now to visit just a heavenly site. The colors like I mentioned are prefect, the navigation at the top is splendid and fits right into the flowers. The main content isn’t demanding too much interest which to me is a good sign so you’re viewers can busy themselves in other insane site stuff that you offer. The font is nice, I just wish it matched the colors a bit more than just be gray I believe it is. The headers are so cute with their floral vectors embedded in them. You’re quite the graphic master! The side menu is simple and easy enough. I like the green dashes instead of the boring bullets most sites have. I like your profile page, you actually have a picture of yourself which is great, we get an idea of who you are and what you look like even though online, that’s very unusual. On the content page, you provide with the fun little things that I myself love to browse though when I’m on a site, I won’t go into detail but I loved 101 Things in 1001 Days things! xD as for the contact page, I’m left a little lost, I’d link you sure, but you should consider adding a form or some sorts to just fill out here and send to you. Thanks for having your emailed typed out and not hidden behind a link, that is so annoying! A common idea to have a Site Map which I see you didn’t forget to use. Wow, you have tons of fan listings! Anyways, keep up the great site, I really enjoyed it! I’ll give you a 4 out of 5 since I think you can improve on the font and the contacts page.

   I did have a contact form a few years ago, but it never worked lol so I just resorted to tell people to just email me and putting my email xD
