   First Impression: Very strange color combination. I am not sure the gray would be the best choice behind the main image.

   Content: Your content for yourself does not tell too much about you. The only things I get are your likes and a little on your site. I do not know how old you are. That is really important for people to know when visiting.

   In your goodies section, I like the icons and wallpapers. Your brushes should be in the format for Photoshop or even Paint Shop Pro so your visitors can just simply download, install, and use.The concept of offering brushes are wonderful. I always get tons of requests to make more brushes so I know that people are wanting them.

   Your CSS tutorial is nice for those in LiveJournal, Neopets and MySpace where CSS is needed to alter the layout. However, for a regular page, there is a lot more to css that you have, so I would recommend expanding or making a notation on your tutorial about it.

   Coding: You have some major errors in your coding ( http://re-url.me/825 - link to the W3 Validator site). You did not specify the document type in your layout.

   For instance, with basic coding, you should use the HTML 4.0 Transitional document type. You can find those on the W3 site. This will help your browser recognize and translate your webpage properly.

   If you already have a style sheet reference linked to your page, then you do not need to include a font color. You only need to add a css attribute and the correct tags to make your text appear the way you want it to.

   Design: Your layout is a bit disjointed. You main navigation only extends 90% across your content area. All of your sections are spread apart quite a bit. I love it when people use their whitespace, but too much can also hurt too. It reminds me of a restaurant with tables so spaced out that it seems unfriendly.

   The color scheme is very odd and the main image is a bit on the crude site. I do like the font used, but it does not go well with the main
   image. It kind of blends in with it. My suggestion is to try a variation of this graphic, and a different layout type that the content and such are within a contained area. I have provided a sample mockup I whipped up in 5 minutes ( http://re-url.me/824 - screenshot of my mockup). it is just a graphic I threw together to give you an idea.

   Summary: With some work, your site will do well. Right now, it looks to be in its beginnings and you have some content that you offer. I think if you expand your areas of your site like your site information and the section about you, then your site will start to look more well rounded, content-wise.

   You should try to join some listings to get your site noticed (at least if that is what you want to do.)

   Here is a big issue I did notice. You are using CuteNews. I really advise that you should try something else like WordPress. CuteNews has some security issues and for the past few years, those issues never seem to be fixed. Some webhosts ban them as they are easy to exploit by hackers and spammers. Just so you know, I had one paid domain hostee in my webhosting business that was hacked into and the spammers were sent over 20,000 emails in less than 24 hours.

   I'm definitely going to do some of the things you've suggessted. ; )

   And thanks a lot for the mockup, it was helpful. The layout isn't disjointed in my browser/with my resolution, I didn't really test it on any other ones. I'm not sure whether I've fixed it now, hopefully I did.

   Oh, and the cutenews, hopefully I'll be changing it soon...is fanupdate just as good as wordpress?

   And about the bloggin' system; I've heard it's pretty unsafe but I'm not sure where/how to get another one.

   First Impression When I came on your site, at first, the first thing I saw was your layout of course. I don't like it that much.. it's it's kinda original and the colors are matching together. Your sidebar is pretty well organised.. but your blog and navigation is messed up. Your blog's width isn't good and the "other" link is on the "home" link.

   AboutPretty good section about your site, i like that. You have a little bit of your site's history which i like, you also give credit which is awesome and you give a way for people to contact you.

   About you I don't really think this link should be on the homepage.. maybe add it in the about section? You will have less links on your homepage like that. But it's pretty good to let visitors know about you.

   Goodies You have a lot of stuff and content in that. I like your layouts, they are really cute, and visitors love coded layouts, maybe make more of them? But I don't really think neopets users visit your site, so why waste time on making neopets layouts when you could simply make little mini blends or something like that. I really love your photographs, I think it's the thing I like the most in your content. But the thumbnails and really really long to load. You shouldn't use a code like this one to make your thumbnails. You should make them with paint shop pro or photoshop and definatly make them way smaller. I like your quotes, icons and wallpapers too, they're overall pretty good. Your color palettes and brushes are also pretty cool, but I think you could make way better brushes than this ones.

   Tutorials This is really empty, you should work on more of them. Because visitors are looking for them.

   Other I wonder what you're gonna put in that section. Maybe while you're working on it, you should remove the link from your homepage and only add it when the section is redy to open.

   Overall I see you like to work on your site, and you have a lot of potential. Keep working on your graphic skills and on making new tutorials.

   I think I know how to fix the navigation, but I'm not sure what's with the blog. You have a good point about the "about me" section, I'll just move it to the "about" section. : )
   Thanks for the layout comment, hehe. And I'll try and change around the photography section when I get a few spare moments, they definitely would be a lot better the way you described.
   And the brushes are pretty bad, haha, maybe I'll just remove that section until I can make some more.
