I've been a long time away from rev.iew.me, but now I'm back! :) Hope you will review me! And I don't know why I can't validate my HTML.. HELP! :S

    First Impression
    It's not often that I like an image that's colored out of lines. For some reason, your header image is just striking. I like the way that the hooks seem to be coming out from a certain point and the font you chose for your site name just goes very well with the image.

    The one thing that really does take away from the look is that everything else is just green. I feel like you could add a background color to your content divs, making them appear more organized. Right now it just looks like a bunch of text and a big image.

    Your blogs are stuck together. There's hardly any space between them. The only reason I can tell you have more than one blog there is because the title of it stands out and so does the fact it has "Comments #" right next to it. I suggest either adding some padding or adding more margins to your blog boxes.

    You're using a lot of grays and blacks. What happened to the other colors in your header image? Yes, they are really light against the green, but I'm sure there are darker shades that would go very well with the background you have up. You could use those colors for your headers so they don't all look the same. Alternate them and make them look more interesting!

    Here's a problem - I can see you're using CuteNews. Yes, CuteNews is the ideal blogging system for a start, but you'll want to switch to FanUpdate or even WordPress as soon as possible. Though it had never happened to me, I hear CuteNews is quite easily hackable and I've seen a number of sites that have a ridiculous amount of spam comments because CuteNews isn't secure.

    Also, another problem is that your footer blends right into your content text. I suggest spacing out your footer or giving it a whole other div with a different background color.

    In the sidebar:
    - "do" should be "does"

    Your "site hits" feel like they would be better off in their own "site stats" section on the sidebar, or perhaps just on their own in your footer. They really look like they're just thrown under your introduction to fill up space.

    Coding
    It seems that there is something in your coding that doesn't allow W3's validator to validate your site so I can't offer you any help in that area.

    Your CSS, however, is validated. :)

    Owner
    - "breaked" should be "broke"
    - "diead" should be "died"
    - "fighted" should be "fought"
    - "rided" should be "rode"
    - "ut" should be "up"
    - "most" should be "mostly"
    - "come" should be "become"

    It's great that you have a fairly indepth summary of yourself for your visitors to read. I don't think it's necessary for you to put the bulleted list at the top of the page, since you don't really have any headers indicating what part is what above each paragraph.

    Visitor
    The fact that you don't put your name on the content themselves is a bit too trusting. I know most visitors these days are quite trustworthy and they will credit you properly, but there are the few who take advantage of the fact that you don't include your credit on your work. I do suggest you add some kind of watermark on your work to prevent people from taking advantage of the situation. :)

    Your website layout looks nice, though a couple of them seem like cropped images with a couple brushes. It seems that you're just using white headers and black text in your layouts CSS. This is just from what I see in the screenshots. Some of the layouts you have, have more colors than just white and black. I do suggest you use those colors.

    I do, however, like the fact that you have the code for visitors displayed in a textarea and they can easily copy and paste it.

    Your icons look good! Though a couple of them look just like they've been cut and cropped. I really like the bottom 3, though. Those look exceptionally nice.

    Not to be blunt or anything, but blank buttons are quite useless nowadays. Many people will make their own buttons, because they either like it to match their website layouts or they just feel that they could express their own style better.

    Your brushes look nice, but there comes the fact that you only have images and I wouldn't necessarily call a bunch of images brushes. You should clearly state some instructions on the page about how to turn the image selections into brushes on certain programs. Either that or you could/should offer the brushes in a downloadable format that could just be opened and unloaded, ready to use. This makes it a lot easier for the visitors to get things done, because there are some visitors who like things ready at hand for them.

    Other
    You have a huge amount of spelling and grammar mistakes. I pointed out a few, but there are a bunch more. I'm guessing most of your mistakes lie in the fact that you're using the wrong words for past tenses of words. :P Like, "rided" instead of "rode".

    Other than that, everything you have up is easily understandable! :D

    Overall
    For some reason, which I'll never know, I feel I could've helped you out quite a bit if there were any errors in your HTML :P But I'm not saying there are any.

    The one thing I really do suggest improving is the way your content is laid out. You need to have clear indicators of what section is what and don't be afraid to take advantage of the padding and margin attributes. :P They help a lot when it comes to spacing out your content.

    I've never met a site owner with a particularly great interest in horses, so I assume you'll make more content that's horse-related? :)

    Just make sure you organize everything properly and check your spelling/grammar before you upload anything and you're good to go!

    Thanks A LOT for the review! :) I will fix many of the things you pointed out! :P And I can't have any other blogging system or upload files on my server... My host probably doesn't have much space or something.. I don't know.. P; Arhhh the spelling mistakes and the grammar... -.- And why didn't I think about having something about horses! I could make some articles ore something! Thanks for the idea! :D

    I find it a tad bit dull. All the grays makes me feel like they are taking away the color.
    But I do for one really like the top banner.
    The background is cute but I would have liked it alot better if you had done maybe
    two of the blue in the top banner instead of doing the gray.
    Your style- Not original. Alot of sites are making their CSS like that.
    But I for one am a fan of that style, but I do know there are people out there that
    are just getting tired of seeing it every site they go to.

    Lastly with the layout on the navigation... why don't you just have 'Owner'
    under the sitely links? I would find that alot easier.

    Vistor-
    Layout headers-
    These are really cute, but why don't you call them 'Layout banners'? Because
    to me... when I first saw 'Layout Headers' on your links I had no clue what it was,
    and I was thinking it was some style of a header.
    Also why don't you just turn these into website layouts yourself? They already
    look really nice, and if you turned them into website layouts alot more people
    might use them.

    Icons-
    These are really nice. Something I am not a fan of that sites do is add more than one
    icon of a similar picture on it. You have 3 almost exactly alike rose icons, why not
    make 3 different ones??

    Blank Buttons-
    I really like these, but I have to say, the star is really overwelming and big.
    And I dought many sites would be able to fit there site name on the side of that
    huge star.
    Also, why not make a few 88x15 buttons to go with the 88x31??

    Brushes-
    These are nice. The only one I am a little werided out on is the horse one.
    I can't really imagen putting a horse brush onto a graphic... but if it works then
    it works.
    I am not exactly sure what some of these are.
    Maybe make the previews bigger so it is easier to tell what brush you are getting.

    Lastly I want to note on your link back buttons.
    They are really plain and boring.
    If I was on somebodys site and saw that button I would not visit it because the
    first impression it gives you is that the site is going to be really dull and well... boring!
    Which your site is not.
    Maybe adding color and make it a button you would really want other people to see
    and say "I want to visit that site!"
    And lastly most sites take 88x15 buttons. Not many take 88x31. So your best bet
    would be to make some 88x15 buttons to go with your 88x31.

    Overall-
    Your site is really nice. And since it is newer you have ALOT of room for improvement
    but other than that, I think your site is coming along nicely. :]

    I love the header image, the Grey and green work well together and your layout is centered. It looks exactly the same in both Firefox and internet explorer which is great! Everything here seems perfect!

    Content
    The first thing the visitor sees when they look on your site is your blog. At the moment, it's a little messy. The line height is different because of the smileys and you've put random paragraphs of text which nobody wants to read because there's nothing of interest there. I suggest downloading smaller smileys that fit in with the text and think of something interesting to write! Also - Put 'Home' instead of 'Index', as 'Index' doesn't sound right. I couldn't be bothered to read the 'about me' page as it's lots of big chunks of text. Try breaking the important bits into bullet points at the top so we can get a brief idea about you, then go into detail further down. You're 'History' page was a little better as there was less text. You should put the 'Name' section in the 'History' section (under a subheading) because the name is part of the history. Add more colorful link buttons too. Also, on your 'credits' page, make the subheadings stand out! All your graphics look great but not many people use graphics these days, as most people prefer to make them by themselves. Also, seperate your brushes and make them avaliable for download. Most people can't be bothered to crop the images themselves. Finally, add a form for affies to apply. It will make it easier for the visitor, and most people would feel uncomfortable sending direct emails.

    Overall
    After a tiny bit of work, your site is going to be amazing! Well done!
