It actually took me a ridiculously long time to notice the navigation. There's nothing really wrong with where you've got it - it's a perfectly reasonable placement. I just tried to mouseover the balloons in your header and scrolled all the way down your sidebar looking for navigation before I found it - probably because I'd mentally written off "thought balloons" after I tried the ones in the header.
I notice you link your host right there in the sidebar. I'm sure RigRag appreciates that. ;)
Your blog posts are on very everyday topics. That's not necessarily bad, mind you. Your grammar seems good.
The about section is pretty extensive, covering both you personally and your site. The section about you is short and sweet, definitely not so much as to overwhelm the reader. I think it would be more welcoming to make the default page for this section the one about you, though, instead of your website history. Everything else is the sort of straightforward things you expect to find, and seem to be in good shape.
Your stories are well-written. In 'Depends On How You Look..." in particular you do well with a tough POV, a child who isn't totally aware of what's going on around him. I hope you're planning to write more.
The articles are a bit more all over the place; you cover a lot of topics. While I don't agree with you at all on the abortion subject, I'll say that you present your side of it well. Your article on buying CDs is a little less well-organized, especially in the way that illegal downloading and buying from legal shops like iTunes are discussed. Your reviews are well-written, but it's a shame there aren't more recent ones.
The hosting section is straightforward and self-explanatory. And that brings us back to home.
There's not a huge quantity of content but what you do have obviously had a lot of thought put into it. Especially considering your age you come off as a very well-spoken young lady. If you found a topic to pursue in-depth I think you could have some solid content for your site - maybe a controversial topics section, to go with your abortion article, or maybe a larger and more active review section. If neither of those inspires you, I remember you said in your personal section that you liked fashion and vintage clothes. That could also be a good topic for you to focus on - shopping for vintage clothes, how modern girls can remix them, getting the retro look with modern pieces, that sort of thing. A lot of people are interested in vintage right now but it's hard to find really good, "in the trenches" type reading on the subject.
Good luck in the future, no matter what you decide to pursue!

Thank you for the review :)
I'm planning on adding more articles and reviews - in fact I just added another one today.
Writing about clothing seems a good idea, I might look into that!
I didn't realise my navigation was that hard to find though, haha, I'm sorry about that. Thanks again :D

First Impression/Layout
Pretty nice; it's very simple (which I like), but not completely intriguing. But hey, it's pretty good. I also like how organized it is; I'm OCD and feel like my site's a mess, haha.
4/5The Owner Section
You nerd! I'm joking, of course...maybe. Hey, we seem to have a similar appearance, except you're tinier than I. We're like soul sisters or something! I also love No Doubt, but I also like techno, haha. God, I hate rap, isn't it awful? XP
I definitely learned quite a bit about you and who you are, which is a good thing when it comes to your "About Me" section. :) It's also very organized, which is a plus. You hate the rain? :( Probably wouldn't like my site, haha.
5/5The Works Section
Again, a very organized section. Your photography section is okay, but you can easily improve the images by going into Photoshop and changing the Contrast settings, or the levels. I really like them, though. I also liked how you organized your article on Abortion; you easily got your point across and didn't get off subject. I always have a hard time staying on subject. In case you couldn't tell.
4.5/5The Reviews Section
Organized, well designed, and also helpful for those seeking out suggestions/opinions for their sites. I really admire how you set up your reviews and it's nice that you let your visitors know what's coming in a review of yours. I like how you use constructive criticism and give a rating instead of a score, which is what I do. Great job!
5/5The Domain Section
Interesting how you set up your history by months and such; I've never seen that before. I started out super crappy, too. Don't we all? You've learned pretty fast - 3 years? Your site name is also interesting, too. I like when personal site owners have names that describe their personality instead of just random jumble like, "Sugary Sugarpuff Rainbow Sparkles".
5/5Conclusion
Overall, I really like your site. It's very organized and well designed. I think there's just something missing from it, something that could make you stand out from other blogs. I think it'd be helpful if you added just a little pizazz (of course, being what YOU consider pizazz) to your layout to make it you. But that's just a minor suggestion, I think everything's pretty much great and I wish you good luck for the future.

I know the layout's pretty simplistic; I made it pretty quickly so hopefully the next one will be better.
Yay, it's good to know there's at least one person like me, haha:)
Thanks for my review, it was great and I'll try to add something more unique soon :)

FIRST IMPRESSION
Damn! Are those flowers real?
(you're clearly a great photographer!)LAYOUT
The layout is very easy on the eyes. Nothing is distracting, and nothing looks hideous. Everything is very organized, and the font choice is perfect. My only problem would be that to some, it may be a tad bit dull. For example, instead of featuring the website's title in the huge header, "myfacade.org" is simply squished into the top right corner... never to be noticed. The orange from the from the flowers and the font is nice, but perhaps a little more color or detail could make it even better. A quick thought that I had would be to change the background from a plain, solid color to something a little more textured. It could still be the same color scheme, but with a little added, subtle detail. That's the only things I could think of to make your layout pop a little more. It's already really nice, but with so many blogs on the net, it's smart to make yours noticed and memorable!
CONTENT
It's so refreshing when an "Owner" section has a lot of information. Many web-designers only include a few sentences about themselves, but that's not the case with you! Unless you have a problem with privacy (which is perfectly fine), the only think I could think of adding would be a picture of yourself.
The "Works" section is also very well laid out. I read the first few paragraphs of "It Depends On How You Look At It" and "Midnight Silence." You have a very strong writing voice, and I didn't spot any grammatical errors... which is always nice. :) Your articles were also very well written... I specifically enjoyed "Blogging for Dummies" which had moments of humor and sarcasm. Heehee. Your movie reviews were very organized. Yay. Same with the lone book review. My only suggestion for this section would be to try some more unique topics for your articles. This isn't the first site that I've seen with movie reviews and blogging tips... where as your Abortion and Piczo rants were refreshingly different.
Kudos for having one of the only review sections that isn't way behind with a huge queue. Your reviews looked very polished and organized, and you offered quite a bit of constructive criticism to your two most recent reviews. Great.
Wow. I really like the "History" page in your "Domain" section. It's neat to see you add more information about your site as the months go by, instead of just saying "here's my site... blah blah blah" and then never updating the page again. :) Oh, your "link me" buttons are pretty. Your "credits" page is well-organized and very detailed. Also, kudos for having separate forms for each of the three requests: contact, affiliation, and advertising. It's nice to see a web-designer do those extra few steps.
Your hosting page is a pretty typical hosting page. Nothing amazing... but nothing poopy either. ;)
CONCLUSION
If I haven't said this enough; your site is VERY organized. This CAN, however, have a backlash. I mean, your site is great already, but it's sort of missing the 'extra something' that would make it stand out from other blog sites. Other than a few great/unique articles, not much sets you apart from the rest. Keep adding new content and developing your site into something outstanding! It's definitely headed in the right direction!!

Glad you like the photo! And I did have some trouble with the font - it was hard to pick a colour and if I made it bigger or changed the position, it seemed a bit too intrusive. I guess the picture was pretty hard to work with! I agree with you that it's a bit small though.
I was thinking about adding a photo - two things stopping me, though: 1) I have an extremely small number of photos in which I look sane, and 2) the privacy thing. I have very paranoid parents :)
I'm adding more book reviews soon - I only added that about a week ago, so I have an excuse haha.
I haven't thought of something unique to add to my site yet, but hopefully I'll come up with something soon. Thanks for the review!
