Welcome to Then Review, a original website based upon the idea of reviewing products and websites. This includes console games, latest films and websites. ThenReview will always be updated weekly with new review's from the team, all reviews are always created by the authors and never copied. Our reviews always contain images, also our game reviews contain bullet points on both the good and bad sides of each product, giving you an exact view on that product.

    First impressions of your website are good. it looks impressive. I like the title. thenReview. it's cool. One thing I don't like is how half way through the content the background changes from white to light grey, it doesn't seem right and is off putting to the eyes. The two navigations are okay....
    I would prefer them both to be on top one another though above the header of underneath it. I don't like them separate.

    The twitter bird looks cute and works well.

    I like clean navigation which are easy and self explantory. Yours is exactly that. WOOP. It's clearly labelled so I am not looking around for stuff ton find. Well done.

    When I click onto your navigation it blinds me with a light grey colour. i would look into making this darker. It#'s just the grey you choose is TOO bright.

    I have no real issues with the way your content is set out, it's all clear to read.

    Looking deeper into your two navigation, why do you have a "home" button then a "Then review our homepage" button. they both do the same thing (I've clicked and check!) Look into removing on of these as it can e slightly confuzzling for people. Everything else seems reasonable.

    Loonking into your site name. is it "thenREVIEW" or "ThenREVIEW" because you display these too variants of names throughout your site. if you are looking into building a name for yourself, then I would suggest getting the capitalisation of it set into a style so people will recognise you more easily when they see you mention in places on the web.

    Your side bar is a nice size. I wouldn't have advertising placed at the top of your page though, it's off putting when people enter your site and see it. It looks like one of those dodgy sites which are puely for advertisement purposes.

    I think the ABOUT thenREVIEW bit should be places at the top so people know immediately what your site is about instead of having to search for it.
    You repeat yourself within the side bar as you did in the navigation. Why have you got About thenREVIEW F.A.Q. and privacy policy within the sidebar if it's in your navigation. it just looks like you are trying to fil space within your site. Either have it in your side bar OR your navigation, not both because it looks amatuerish.

    No problems with your disclaimer.

    I see you have affiliates. if you are trying to build a name of site for yourself, you should call it something else i feel. Not "Friends". Something game related. I dunno, I haven't got my xbox head on but something like "sister sites" or "Top scorers" y'know?

    No problems with your subscriptions at the bottom. :]

    With your sidebar then, it goes:

    or something like that. It's your site, don't let the advertisments take the best parts. (At the top of your sidebar!) :]

    I left Disclaimer out because I think for your site it would be better placed within your footer. honestly, I'd look into changing where it is.

    That's all I have to say on your site really.
    Where I have criticized, I've tried to offer solutions and and reasons why. I hope you take some of my suggestions on and all the best with your site.

    try and keep adding more content whenever you can. it's nice to see a fresh idea such a review site for games, so that's really brilliant. Keep it up.

    Along with hopefully i've replaced all 'ThenReview' apart from some content posted via reviews to thenREVIEW - The reason it was both was due to the logo was recently changed to 'thenREVIEW' about a day ago, if that. Thus it was in the middle of being changed but i simply forgot ):

    I agree with the hover over 'lighter grey' is far too light and your not able to read the text correctly, i'll look into editing that also. The 'home' at the top navigation was removed, Wordpress added that without me knowing, simple template editing has removed it though.
