ColorMeGraphics began in late 2007 as a blog site for me, but as I began using MySpace more and more I wanted to make my own graphics and MySpace layouts, and that's what ColorMeGraphics is, a small collection of graphics, and layouts for MySpace. But no I wanted to go back to basics so it's a blog now. :)

    Reviewing in FF.

I love the header, the quote is really cool, the only problem is, this reminds me of another layout that I've seen...I don't remember where, I think Hidden Tragedy had a layout like this...Did you credit them for the stylesheet? I don't see a credits page..I suggest you get one, because that's what I look for when I review a website, I immediatly go for a credits page because if you don't have one, it seems like your stealing other people's work. I almost never look in the footer for any kinds of credits. You don't have wordpress linked as your website/blog power. (i.e. powered by wordpress) Why don't you have it linked?

I like the top navigation as well as the colors of the actual layout.

The "work" page doesn't show up because either you put the page name in wrong or you don't have the page yet. I can't
apply for a review anywhere or at least, I don't know how. All it shows in one review, you should have some rules on a main reviews page then a contact form or at least tell us how to apply and then link the review somewhere else on the page. Kudos to you having wordpress though, I know you just added it and your first wordpress layout looks cool.

Your blog repeats on like 5 pages, which is weird, why don't you just have one page for a blog then make other pages with information on your love(s) and your life page can be basically a page all about you, like my loveseason website. I like how you have all of your affiliates listed in the sidebar but you should customize your links in some way. Like make a background colors for it or like
change the color of the links, at least.

I really, don't have much more to say, besides you need to really work on your blog. You've got a lot of work to do. If you need any help just ask me(:

I am the first to review this site! :D

    Using firefox

    LAYOUT:
Colors are very nice and simple, which I like. However, the background has too much contrast in it, and hurts my eyes slightly. I would suggest using a softer blue in the background ONLY. The header image also gets lost in the background. So, I would suggest putting a white border on both sides of your layout. This would separate your layout from it's background. I also don't under stand what the words at the top and bottom of the header have to do with anything. You layout kind of reminds me of snow. But that's just how I see it. I would chop the words out, leaving your header shorter in height.

    CONTENT:
Your graphics look like you're new to this, but you'll get better with time. I would continue to add more content.
On your "myspace layouts" page, I would take off the descriptions of the first two layouts. They ruin the look of the page. The layouts are nice, but very simple. And I wonder if you made the backgrounds or not. If you didn't you should have a credit's page. This is VERY VERY important. If you offer any type of graphics that were not made from scratch by you, including images and all of "the works", you must have a disclaimer page that states which parts were not made by you, and giving credit where it is due. It's legal stuff. ;)
Icons look nice, quotes look nice, and I love the "who I'd like to meets". I'm not sure what "rares" are exactly.

    IN ADDITION:
Your copyright should be centered, and take out the "mhmm". That makes you sound immature, where as you're better off making a copyright sound professional... because that's the point of having one. haha
I also suggest taking up some lessons on HTML or reading a few things about tables. They're easy to make. There's no need to heavily edit a layout already made. Just make it yourself, it's simple to use tables.

    brittneyc's Response:

I didn't want the header to stand out, I wanted everything to blend. So I guess I did good on that. The words are very random I know, but that's how it's meant to be.

I never thought about adding a credits page! That's a very good idea. But i did make most of the backgrounds by the way.

I was using the original layout before, and I began to change it little by little, so that's how it ended up being the heavily edited version.

Thank you so much fro taking the time to review my site! Your review had a lot of great ideas and I appreciate it!
