Mused Designs, aka, Musedd, is a portfolio that also offers resources for visitors. I'd like a review on organization, but any other suggestions would great as well.

    FIRST IMPRESSION:
    I like the design of this layout, the graphics are great. But everything seems hard to navigate around, due to the way your layout is positioned.

    LAYOUT:
    The layout is nice, I like the feel to it and you did a good job with the texture. The graphics are well done, but I don't think that your layout is something that's going to help visitors access your content. As I said above, mainly because you've got everything positioned to the bottom. I've got a really big screen so there are a load of black spaces around the top and the right hand side. Since my screen is big, your layout is like a tiny thing in the bottom right hand corner. I prefer a layout that looks dull than a layout that makes it hard for me to get around. Your text is small, not to an extreme sense, it's still readable, but your navigation is hard for me to read without squinting. My computer renders some fonts differently because I turned the smoothing on, so your text sticks together real close. Also the fact that your text is white on dark background makes it hard to read as well. I hate it when people use white text on dark backgrounds. It actually leaves a glare to my eyes. When I blink, I literally see the text floating there, temporarily burnt to my retinas. Because the dark background makes the white really blinding. So I'd suggest making improvements in the future with your text to make things more readable.

    SITE:
    Pretty explanatory section. I don't want to read through your 'About' section because honestly the text is just not so readable from this end. I suggest listing your credits in a better way, preferably in a list so that it's easier to go through.

    DESIGNS:
    This section took a long time to load. It was stuck at the dates for a pretty long time, and I thought that this was your archives. There's nothing interesting to point out in the section apart from the fact that you should either center your thumbnails or put them into tables so that there aren't uneven spaces between them.

    RESOURCES
    The smilies are really adorable and I love the way your textures are organized with the information on the side. Everything in this section seems really organized in general, and you've got some pretty quality content here. I'd suggest adding more and perhaps do content that people would use more of.

    TAGBOARD:
    Tagboards seem like a really freewebs thing. I don't see the point of a tagboard when you've got comments and a contact form. I personally dislike tagboards, even though it's kind of hypocritical since I used to love them, but that was when I was 12.

    OVERALL:
    I think you could improve on a few things, especially your layout because it's hard to navigate around. But nothing you can't fix :)

    I'm sorry to hear that the layout doesn't view properly for you. The white text on the black background isn't much of a contrast for me- it must be the difference between out monitor settings- as the 'black' background isn't only black, it's with reds, greys, blues, but all of it is just dulled down. I dislike those types of contrasts as well as my eyes are sensitive, so I understand what you're going through. I'm sorry about that.

    As for the tagboard, I don't really understand what you mean by it's a freewebs thing, but I get the impression it's for new web designers who use them? The reason why I have a tagboard is for general comments. Some people are too lazy to go to the contact form to make a comment and the comments for my updates, are for comments for my updates. =P I'm just trying to make it easier for my visitors to leave comments, since I really appreciate their input.

    the color scheme you used is alsoo just great. beautiful blend of colors that looks great together. i love blue, hahah it's my favorite color :)

    well, i think you should add a little more content, considering that you only have 3 resources? but, it's still great. because the quality and the look is just beautiful. i'm so going to use your textures(; it's just amazing! there's so much to say. every single detail. i see that you also put a lot of work on your resources. but, quantity is also sometimes important because your lacking on little content for others to use.

    overall, great layout and look. it makes me want to really look around. and i'm going to deff use your textures and give credit for you (: keep up the great work! amazing site.
    i give your 4 stars for how beautiful your site is(:

    Thanks for the review Amy! I will work on the quantity part as well even though like you said, it's a portfolio. ^^ =P
