    LAYOUT, FIRST IMPRESSIONS

    Great, the first impression is good, I would continue browsing your site happily.
    The layout however is not made by you but vicky from audiorush.org so I cannot review this, so I'm going to skip it.
    I reccomend learning how to make your own layouts though, once you get the hang of it you'll find out it's not too difficult.

    Your footer is organised, good.

    CONTENT
    portfolio -

    Well done, this is done nicely, i like your blends, very good!
    Your writing peice is good, but maybe a little too much underline, bold etc?
    Otherwise, congrats, I'm drawn in by your portfolio and when you have the time you should definatly add more!

    resources -
    brushes are really interesting! I've never seen a brush pack like this before with stars, I like it, it's original.

    Exact same for the textures, really awesome!
    There's just one thing with light box that's the same for your portfolio:

    That's your code, but to make them all at once, so you can have "previous" and "next" buttons, add, on all of the links where it says
    rel="lightbox"
    say rel="lightbox[group]"
    So where it says group you can rename that to textures or what not, and tada!

    OVERALL IMPRESSIONS
    You have a really, really good site, and I really enjoyed it. I have a few suggestions:
    - Add an about page, let the visitors know about the site (Credits, affiliates, history etc) & yourself;
    - Add some more resources when you have the time, your content is very original and I'd love to see more.

    Love Dares is interesting. Love is commonly used in site names, so its not really unique.
    Content
    Brushes:
    Star brushes are seen all the time..you should try making new shapes and forms. Regardless, they are in good format.
    Textures:
    Your textures are good. Nothing wrong here.
    Colour palattes:
    Try putting your pallattes on your own site. Redirecting to a different site confuses your visitors. Since your visitors are on a seperate site, they might forget about your site. I learned that from experience.
    Portfolio:
    You should use a program for organizing your content.
    Footer bars:
    You should include a link to apply for affiliation and advertising.
    Organization
    Overall, your site is pretty organized except for the portfolio. Like I said, use a program. Make sure to add links to your footer section.
    Overall Summary
    Your site is over all really good. Try organizing more and adding more pages.

    Thanks for reviewing me, I get what you mean. I know quite a few sites that make them, but I will soon make my own.

    I opened my site and am particularly busy with coursework and exams over the past few weeks so I'll add some more soon.

    Ooh, that's interesting. What about if I make it open in new tab, will it make any difference?

    How do you mean use a program, like what sort? I'm a bit confused here.

    Cute, love the color choice. Makes me feel happy like your cloud background. ^^ However, It doesn't seem like a resource site, more like a personal blog. First look, I see that it is lacking in content. Maybe you should try a layout with a sidebar? Most resource site have sidebars. O, I like how easy and smoothing the font is. :) Some resource sites have super small fonts and that strains my eyes. :(

    Your portfolio images loads too long. But I like the litebox popup thingy. ^^ Instead of a rectangular thumbnail, why not try square ones? That way visitors can see more about the image from the thumbnail itself. Love the resource. For the color schemes, I suggest, putting the color schemes image on your site, and then linking them to the specific colorlovers scheme page(maybe with a popup?). I don't like it that I'm navigated out of your site.
    The texture thumbnails, I think it's much more better if it's squared.

    Ooh, I see what you mean. I guess it was kind of awkward without a sidebar but I understand. I know, my friend yesterday has to zoom in 4 times before she could read the test on a site. :\

    Layout Your layout itself is a little bit too plain. But I LOVE the background. Its sooooo adorable. The colors go really well with eachother. Maybe try adding some images to the banner part of the layout, the part that says Love Dares. Also, you should add something like A little blog about...[whatever you want to add after that] It will then tell others what your blogging about. I love the smilies too.

    Content You have some really good content on your site. Love the brush pack. But the only thing I would suggest adding is an about you page and an about the site. Or that can all be on one page. I would really like to know about you, but I cant tell because you dont have a page for it. Also, why do you have a portfolio full of graphics and a separate page for resources? If i'm not mistaken, shouldn't these two pages be combined? Just wondering.

    Spelling and Grammar no need to fix anything. This is all correct. Good job.

    Anything Else What blogging system do you use? I dont see a credits page either. This would be good to have. You should always credit anybody you use something from. Like your blog states. Even if it is just one little itty bitty pixel, you should still credit them. Also, you need to credit your host. Even if it is in your link, you still need to credit them. So please do me a favor and make a credits page haha.

    Thats about all I can see for now. Your site is too small for me to go over anything else. lol. Love it though.

    I didn't make the layout, heh. I suck at layouts because I hardly know any XHTML and CSS, but I'm gradually learning.

    Thanks, yeah I still need to add quite a few pages lol so my site looks a bit all over the place really. I'll try get them soon done, thanks for telling me.

    Yeah, I'll do a credits page soon. I'm trying to work on all my site pages (advertising, etc) so I can release them all at once.

    I use WordPress by the way.

    Lol, I just opened it a little while ago. Thanks for the suggestions and I'll be working towards them soon!
