I love the site. My first impression of it went very well because the name is unique, and the so is the layout. I think the way the top navigation is your own work, and the hovers color it in was really creative!
Everything is easy to read, and you were able to keep bright colors without blinding the visitors. There weren't any spelling errors that I could see, which was an ultimate plus in my eyes. Some people get so careless!
Your media content was awesome, and I actually bookmarked you myself when I saw you offered recipes! Being away from my parents leaves a gap in my cooking abilities, so I'm really going to use those in the future! Everything is organized and well layed out, everything works, GOOD!
I really like the site, overall. Well done! :D

The colors you have picked go well together, they're bright and happy but not sickly when put together which is also good.
All the information I wanna know when I first land on this page is right there and easy to find, as is search and subscribe, so that's perfect.
The way you have quite a lot of information condensed into a small space at the bottom without looking messy is excellent.
To be honest, I don't think I have anything bad to say about this design. It isn't the best I've seen, but I have no faults with it whatsoever. Keep up the good work!
If I did have to pick a fault, I'd say the sidebar boxes at the side are too large. That is all.

First, I saw your site featured on Melly's journal. That was the main reason I was attracted to see what you have done. I have to say I was surprised. You wrote in your entry regarding to your layout that you just wanted something simple, but something that had color. True, you don't have a color scheme with this layout, but that doesn't push the attractiveness that this layout holds. Your layout shows so much and gives so much just by giving off the amount of color you used. Having a color scheme with only two or three colors would dull the layout out. I like what you did using the rainbows as part of your design.
The second part that I liked about the site was your art skills. Adding a piece of yourself into your like makes the layout say something about you. You did something to bring together that you like drawing, and I like that a lot about the site.
I keep wanting to talk about the design itself for I like what you did. It is simple, easy on the eyes, and speaks so much about who you are. That is what makes coming to this site such a pleasure to look at. You made the layout capture your audience just by adding more colors and keeping it related to you.
Congrats on well done job.
