Good stuff:
Their seems to be a lot of content on the site, and it looks like you have "fun" running the site which I love to see :p
And, it looks like your working hard on it.Bad stuff:
That god damn cursor is hard to see on my wide screen monitor. Personally I hate custom cursors and can confuse noobies that visit your site. Also, the purple text on some pages is very hard to read, and your layout isn't centred and i had to scroll side ways to see all your site. I also had a look in your source, their isn't a DOCTYPE code in your html, and I really recommend to use external CSS. It's a lot easier to apply updates to your layout to all of your pages.For example, this is how to link to a external CSS file:
You can also use CSS sprites and other fancies to make your site load faster, but i'm not explaining that on this.
And one more thing, the text size is a bit big. Reduce it down a few sizes.
Overall a good site, but it's a bit basic in some areas.

on 9th Jan 2010 and said:Hello, my name is Maggie and I'll be reviewing your site today. This is my first review in a pretty long time, but I'll do my best. I try not to be too harsh, but I'll be sure to give you my honest opinion.
I'm using Firefox on a Mac with a screen resolution of 1280x800.
FIRST IMPRESSION/AESTHETICS:
First I'm going to cover the basic look of your site, including the layout, color palette, typography, etc.
The very first thing I noticed was that your layout isn't centered. This is a really easy thing to accomplish using
margin:0 auto;in your CSS. There are many tutorials out there for it; here is one at tutorialtastic.co.uk.I really like purple (in fact, I have purple streaks in my hair right now), but I think the purple you've chosen is pretty bright. Tone it down just a little bit. Your color palette is pretty limited, so I would suggest adding some lighter variations of the purple or maybe adding some complementary colors in there like gold or yellow. The darkness creates a very somber atmosphere, so if you add some lighter colors it would brighten it up a bit.
The wood background has been used a lot, but I still like it. I think you could have pulled off the vertically-repeated thing a little better though. Maybe you could have the wood pattern fade off into a dark gray? I think that would be nice looking.
Your header is pretty simple, but that's cool with me. I like that it's not some big huge thing that takes up the entire top half of the page.
If I were you, the very first thing I would change is the font size. EET'S SO TEEEENY. And it shouldn't all be uppercase anyway. The text-transform property is best used for things like h1 or h2. It's also not very good that you have everything center aligned. It's just not necessary.
What the heck is that orange thing in the bottom left corner??? It distracts from your content. I'd get rid of that.
HOME PAGE/SIDEBAR(S)
Now I'll discuss the content you have on your home page, including the sidebars.
Please, only one button. Putting your referral button for rev.iew.me on your home page four times really isn't going to make anyone click it more than if you'd put it there once.
Your headers could use some breathing room. Giving them a margin of at least ten pixels would keep them from suffocating.
On to the sidebars.
Your 'Kat' section should probably be in complete sentences, and you could rename that section to 'About Me' or 'About the Owner' to make it a little more clear what you're talking about. Another thing I noticed is that your links don't appear any different than your regular text. Try adding an underline or at least give them a hover effect.
Making your navigation stand out more could help your visitors find it a lot better.
I don't think it matters what order your affliates are in so '(They're in ABC order)' could be removed. These links could be made to stand out more as well. All the extra 'You @ ______'s aren't needed; you could simply make a link that says 'Apply' that leads to your affiliate application.CONTENT
Now I'll look at the different pages of your site.
The contact form is okay, but I think it should fit into your site a little better. You could accomplish this by matching its background color to the background of your site.
About Moi could be About Me to make that more clear to your visitors. Your grammar and spelling are good.
Credits and FAQ are okay.
Domain Layouts doesn't have anything on it yet, so why even have it on the navigation?
I'm pretty sure you didn't write the codes on the Scripts & Codes page, so they shouldn't be there at all.
Why is your tutorial an image? This would suck for people with poor internet connections. Why not just make it a regular page?
You only have one 'article' at the moment, and it's just a list of things you don't like. Not sure if that qualifies as an article.
Okay, here's a good rule of thumb:
IF YOU DIDN'T MAKE IT, DON'T REDISTRIBUTE IT.Your visitors want to see content YOU'VE made. If they wanted icons from iconator, why wouldn't they just go to iconator?
And no matter what you may think/say, using celebrity photos you didn't take is illegal unless the photographer specifically gave you permission. Just because you edit it and crop it, it doesn't mean you own the image. How would you feel if someone took your senior pictures and edited them into icons, claiming they were theirs? It's the same thing.CODE
Now I'll check to see if your site is valid, and explain how to validate it if it's not.
When run through the W3C Markup validator, your site has 11 errors and 10 warnings.
First of all, you have no DOCTYPE. Add this to the very top of your page, and a lot of your problems should be resolved:
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN"
"http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">
<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" xml:lang="en" lang="en">
<head>
<title>TITLE</title>
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8" />
<meta name="description" content="Enter a description for your site!" />
<meta name="keywords" content="keywords, go, here" />
</head>
Your cbox is contributing to a lot of these errors as well, so I would suggest getting rid of it if you want to have a valid website.
EEK! Are you really typing all your CSS into every page? I've been there, done that, and found out that external stylesheets are really a lot better. There are tons of tutorials out there, so you should look into that soon.
CONCLUSION
Your site has many small improvements that could be made. The major things include getting rid of content that isn't yours and start using external stylesheets. With a little work, you could have pretty nice site. =) Thanks for letting me review your website. Have a nice day.

on 1st Jan 2010 and said:Hey there! I'll be using FireFox to critique your website.
My first impression was impressed! I love the purple, and the little bit of pink. They go great together. In the background, I don't think just stretching the wood was such a good idea. It doesn't look very nice. The wood going down might have just looked good. Also, the headers are huge and the font under is tiny. I think you should balance it out a bit more. The C-Box is OK, but it messes up the layout a teensy bit. Not literally, just the way it looks, you know? Perhaps consider making the C-Box on a separate page. Also, is it necessary to have so many blank affiliate spots? You should just put "Apply?" at the bottom with the link to apply.
I dislike how the two headers on top stick with every page. It's just... bleh. I don't see a problem with the rest of your WWW links.
Why is there a page for Domain Layouts when there are none?
I don't like that purple header that says "Useful Tidbits To Your Website". That shade of purple is not good with the layout, and again the font sizes between the header and text are way too unbalanced.I love how your tutorial is set up! It caught my eye, and looked well-written. I think you should add more tutorials, as you seem to make them well.
Sorry, I don't particularly read articles on sites except for like Yahoo!, so I'm not going to be judging that page.
Excellent AIM icons! When I used to go on aim, those were the kinds I liked, with the small text and hearts and all moving around. It looks awesome, like the last one and the one in the second row on the far left. Nice!
Your 100x100 Icons are quality. Good job!Overall, you have a lot to fix and do. I mean, your site is fine, it could just use a lot of work. Good luck!

on 22nd Dec 2009 and said:Hey, I'm Becca, and today I'm going to be reviewing your site using Flock on a 13 inch MacBook Pro. First off, I have to tell you that Macs don't have the font 'small fonts', so that may cause quite a bit of a stir in the design.
Site Name
I'll have to say it's a good site name, simple and original.Layout/Design
Well, seeing as it's not your own layout, so I won't be commenting on this.Content
There isn't a lot to comment on, and it would be great and attract a lot more visitors if you put your own original content on, because you have to remember, when you take the avatars from iconator, people can always just go on iconator.com and not on your site. (Sorry if that sounded confusing).Coding
Despite the fact that it's not your own coding, I think that you could fix it up a bit, by validating the html + css and I find it easier to use an external stylesheet.Overall
I think you can add more content, but I understand that you just started and that it's a work in progress :). But otherwise, good job, good luck, keep the good work coming & I can't wait to see what this site will become in the future :].Using Firefox on Mac | Report This?

thanks for the review though i really do appreciate it, :]

on 22nd Dec 2009 and said:Hey, I'm Dani and I'm going to be reviewing your site today using Google Chrome.
I love the site name, that's quite cool. Good job(:
Layout
Nice layout there, shame it isn't made by you though. If you made your own layout it would attract so many more visitors! But I hate that font that everyone uses for like, everything, its hard to read, too small and just ugly D: But it also is in caps, so you don't have to type everything out properly which is difficult when you change layouts and have a review as a reviewer will point out mistakes like that. Also, be careful with music players. They can annoy the visitor so just watch that. I love the nav links, on the side they repeat a few different colours. The colours are cute n_nThe coding is invalid, you have 27 errors and 19 warnings. I'd suggest checking this out, as it'll help a lot. A couple of the things are as such, there is no character encoding. Without the encoding, the validation might not be completely accurate. Part of the errors are because your site hasn't given any character encoding, and others because of the cbox.
Content
Aha, there isn't much to comment on at the moment. But what you do have is good. But I wouldn't put up a page saying Domain Lyts, at the top of the nav if you haven't got anything on it yet(: But I understand, it's work in progress.I give this site a 3 1/2 stars, be sure to come back when the contents all finished? ;D!! Best of luck with your site ox

katibbyxx's Response:
well i cant make layouts at the moment as i dont have photoshop and the moment i know making your own brings more visitors this is my 7th site. i have said on my site this layouts just temp. second off the font is not something i put there it was in the code and angela (the girl who made the code) really hates people messing with her codes even if its the smallest thing. i know that music players can be annoying to some people although right now its for me not for them. that player only works on a site because my moms computer is from the fuckin stoneage and doesnt play anything right. but its coming off when the sites done. second of all. the site has no errors on my IE or firefox or even my computer. so im assuming its just chrome the meses up which therefore i can not check because i dont have chrome nor do i like it so i wont download just to check.
but thank you for the review i do, contray to belief after that lol, appreciate it.
