First Impression: I really love the layout. Its very nice and really colorful.

Site Name: I actually really like the site name. Given, it can be a bit hard to remember. Like, if I wanted to visit your site in the near future, I would either have to bookmark it or go through my history because I probably would not remember the name. But I still like it. It definitely tell us what your site is for immediately instead of us looking around for a while trying to figure out exactly what it is you offer on there.

Layout: Hmm... It appears you didn't make the layout? So I guess it shouldn't really count in the reviewing of your site, or the points. But I do still really like the layout, so who ever did do it, did a really great job. I would however make the cBox a little smaller, or change the text in it. I just think it draws the eye away from the beauty of the layout, but it is still great with the cBox like it is. It would just be my personal preference to change it. (:

Originality: I've been doing web designing and things for a year and I have never seen another site like yours, so well done on that aspect. I think it is really great that you award young writers and kind of push them on and give them a sense of hope that they can better their writing.

Links: I didn't find any dead links, which is something I tend to check for often with sites because there always seems to be some, so you not having any is a good thing.

Content: I love the different categories that you offer people to enter into. And I love the fact that you allow people to be nominated. That's just great. I do think your 'Site' page could be extended more. To kind of talk about the site itself and what inspired you to make a site like this. I think that would give your viewers more of an in site into why you do this.

Spelling: I'll be honest, I am kind of a spelling/grammar Nazi, but I didn't find any errors which is really exciting to me. (:

Overall:: Overall, I really really like your site. I think it's a really good place for young writers and for readers who like to find the work of unknown people. I wish more people knew about your site :)

The layout looks visually pleasing and loaded fairly quickly. The rules of the challenge are very fair and specific which is something I would appreciate if I was entering. They are very easy to follow.

When I clicked on the "Categories" link it brought me back to the main page. This also happened when I clicked on "Vote" under the "Nomination" category.

I would have liked to see some of the websites that have been nominated. It says they have some but they aren't listed on the nomination page.

I think this website will be a lot of fun once they get some nominees. I really like the concept of this website.

    First Impression:
Interesting, I love the layout! And I am curious to find out more.

    Name:
A bit too hard to remember. I like it but if you want to get regular visitors it has to be easy to remember. I also don't like the hyphen. They make it double the work to remember. It is related to the website which is always good.

    Layout:
I cannot comment on this because it isn’t made by you. But I will just it won’t count. I really like it and the colors match. The flower is pretty and I like the headers. I am not a fan of the navigation though. This part does apply to you which is the comment box. It doesn’t match. Try using a color palette generator it make it match the layout better and try adding some greys to it.

    Validations:
HTML 4.01 Transitional has 9 errors and 5 warnings. It is always important to check if coding is valid.
CSS level 2.1 has 17 errors. That isn’t good.
It is always important to check coding.

    Originality:
So I googled the topic of your website, I didn’t find any like it. Other than ones that where for the government and so on. But none like yours which is good.

    Dead links:
The Vote link has a Internal Server Error. I could find any others which is awesome. I would check this often because sometimes we miss a link.

    Spelling and Grammar:
I am not good at this myself but I always check for others. I could not find any so that is good. I may have missed one so if someone else finds one after me I am sorry for not finding it.

    Content:
This site has everything I would expect from a site that has a completion as its main purpose. What i did notice and I really like is how you have judges instead of public vote because instead of it about popularity it is about writing skills. Gives better opportunities to others. I suggest not putting who judges each contest up to the public. It someone wants to win they may try and “kiss up” to the judge. A nice part is there are a LOT of different types of categories. Rules are simple and easy to understand. I like the bios on the staff. Nice to see that they have lives and what they do on their free time. Lets people know them better. The site page needs more. Like what inspired you to make the site and why you did so. I think you should install FanUpdate or something for the home page. So people can leave comments there.

    Compatibility:
I can view it clear in the following:
    Internet Explorer
    iPods and iPhones
    Safari
    Google Chrome

    Overall:
It is really awesome and I can’t wait to see what it will be like when the competition really gets huge! It will be very successful if you get it out there more.
