I'm not sure what "scriptsocket" is, but I suspect that may be the issue (while it was loading, I saw it in the bottom).
Unfortunately, I can't review much because it's loading too slow for me. However, I will say that I like the simple design of the layout, but the navigation should be a little more simpler (remove certain links, like 'contest', 'hosting', 'connect' and create a 'domain' page and move it under there).

Your header image isn't aligned with your main content area and your sidebar. It's very important for web designers (you're not a web designer, but you are creating your own layouts) to align your layout. That's why a lot of web designers download grids to help them with alignment.
And while I like the simplicity of the header image (no text, etc.) I say at least download a high quality stock photo.

Under Visitor page, there's a link that directs to the same page when I click About on the menu. No need for double-linking.
Your freebies... they're typical. I see it everywhere. Once again, the same looking brushes. I've encountered these 4 times today (literally). Quotes, scribbles, silly words... yup, I've seen it. At least try something original when it comes to brushes. I personally don't need anything you provide, but that's just me.
There's an ad on the sidebar... Are you making any money? I believe people should only provide ads if their website has a lot of traffic. Hey, I used to fill my website with ads until Jem suggested not to.
Omg... those tiny texts in your footer. #1) I hate tiny texts and #2) It's a bummer for your affiliates that you would put them all the way down there like that. Who would pay attention to it?
On your sidebar, your Recent Posts is under the Meta widget (should be flipped around), and your search form should be on top, in my opinion.
Hmm... Nothing else much.
Overall:
Website is generally nice. Take some of my advice into consideration (if not, that's fine). :)

Layout: Your layout is very nice. Very simple. and clean. I really like it. Although, I think I would like it a bit more if there were a splash of color in there somewhere. But even without it, the layout is great.
Blog: Your blogs are a fairly good length. Which is good. I personally hate short blogs on sites, because it doesn't really give your viewers a sense of who you really are. I love that you talk about your actual life as well, and not just the things that are going on with your site.
Links: All of your links seem to be in good working order, I didn't find any dead ones. Which is great considering that most sites tend to have about one or two that they usually don't even know about. :)
Content: I kind of wished you offered more content on your site, but I did look at your brushes and banners and they are fairly good. I do however, feel like I've seen banner similar to the ones you have on your site. But that really is no shock considering we all get our inspiration from someone else right? I love that on your 'about' page, you've offered us information about you as well as your site. A lot of sites don't do this, and I think it takes away from the personality that you have as the site owner. I also think its nice to have a little bit of background information on the site that you are viewing. I also love that on that page you have provided us with sites that you are inspired by as well has a kind of navigation, if you will, at the bottom that takes us to affiliates and credits. Which brings me to my next point; I adore that you have listed credits for the sites you have used things from. A lot of sites don't do this and it is technically stealing. So it is just great that you do show the credit.
Spelling/Grammar: I can be a serious spelling/grammar Nazi sometimes, so I do tend to be hard on people in those to aspects, but the spelling and grammar on your site are very nice. (:
Overall: Overall I really like your site. I wish that it was a little more popular so I would have heard about it sooner (:

Thanks for the review. :) The banners are from my previous subdomain or website. I like your overall comment. However, I guess that 6birds.net is still considered a baby, as it was born the second week of February. :)

- I like the font for your affiliate links, because they are small and don't take up the whole right side of your website.
- You don't have visitor content right now, so I can't really critique that.
- It's nice that you are offering hosting.
- I like the pixels that go along with your blog entries at the top, such as the folder and the little pencil.Using Firefox on Windows | Report This?
