My name is Katii, and I’m viewing your site using Firefox with a 1280 x 800 resolution.

First Impression: I was a little thrown off by the faceless body… but after reading the “Shh, I must keep my face hidden” I can understand why you chose to do that. The flowers and and swirlies work very well with your layout. They are not overdone, so I would say you have good tastes. :D … While I think your website title/name works blends well and looks pretty with the layout, I can’t help but feel like it is sort of lost within it at the same time. I would recommend trying some way to make that stand out more. When people visit your site, you want them to be able to remember the name if nothing else. I also like the fact that your background is a subtle texture. This adds to the beauty of your layout. The color scheme overall is very great. I think the blue, white, and buff/tan colors work VERY well together and gives off an air of Victorian romanticism. I’m not sure if this is what you were going for, but if it was… I applaud you for your success. I think the only issue that really bugs me is the picture of the woman. Everything else is very artsy and on some level unrealistic looking, but it seems like the woman is a photograph? I would suggest texturize her more using some photoshop art effects… but that’s my own preference. I LOVE the hover effect of your 4 links (the ones with the blue highlight). Surprising and makes me want to believe that you have hidden surprises around the website.

Home Page: The orientation of links and content is clean, nice, and straight to the point. The title of your blog entry was hard to distinguish at first look without reading over the entry itself because it continues with the “Shh, I must keep my face hidden” quote. I thought it was a part of the layout itself instead of the blog entry’s title. I would suggest moving this down more and align it left like the rest of the post. Also… how about having 2 entries shown on the front page instead of one? Having one… you run the risk of your layout looking empty when your post is too short. I’m looking at “Alice in Wonderland” blog entry, and the end of it doesn’t not even go past your affies list… this leaves the “chat” box floating by itself down there on the left. It seems out of place and takes away from the organization of your layout overall.

For the links “visitor, home,Meagan, site” … I’ve usually seen sites place Home first on the list. A little odd that you didn’t do that. There’s nothing wrong with it, it’s just until I read the links, I expected there to be 4 additional pages to the home page itself. I suppose this is also a preference of the webmistress. Placing home first is usually to help people easily find their way back to the main page of your website.

Visitor: Well organized. I think it’s great that you are doing tutorials via youtube!!! But think instead of “All of these are on youtube” … you should say something like “Video Tutorials via YouTube” … and since you’re labeling these, you should also label the top “Text Tutorials” or something more creative but at the same informative. The reason I suggest this is because when I first looked at how it was categorized… I was confused and thought the top were also videos, only… not on youtube. Also, youtube vids can be embedded into your website. Have you ever thought of having your visitors view it straight on your site with a link at the end saying “for more, visit my youtube” …? This way they don’t have to leave your webpage to view the video and can still browse the website after they’ve watched the video.

Meagan: this page is well done. I like the little info about you. It gives me a general, but brief enough, idea of what kind of person you are and what is important to you. The extra links are great for those who would like to get to know you better. I like that you don’t boggle down this page with tons of useless info.

Site: When I click on About and get to Terms and also Reviews… I don’t really think these should be here? You can add so much more interest in your site if you take these pages under about, and give them a link on Home like those 4 link s of the left. Especially with a Terms page, you don’t want people to have to search through the site for it. Most people won’t bother so if having people follow your terms is important to you, make sure you have it somewhere they can clearly see when they first enter the site. Contact, FAQ, Credits, Apply for Hosting can all have their own links on your home page as well. I think this will add more to visitors interest in your site. When I clicked on “site” I actually was expecting “The Name” part of the content on your sub page “About” …

Apply for Affiliates: Everything looks good here. My only complaint is your form… the white text is very hard to read with your background color. I would suggest you change this.

Overall Impression : I love the layout and colors. You have enough content for visitors to browse. Keep up the good work and Good luck with the website. I hope to see your site continue to grow.

    Hello there! (:
My name is Ashley, and I will be reviewing your site!
Before I start, I would first lke to clear some things up:
I will be using internet Explorer while reviewing your site, with a size 1280 x 800 resolution! :)
So how about we get started?

Okay so first off, I like to talk about talk about my first impression on the site.
Eh, its okay. I wasn't really exactly sure what type of site this was when I first walked in. It looked decent, which isn't bad. (:

    Layout:
    Ugh...
This is what makes me what to leave. I love you background, I like how it isn't a solid color, but like a texture? But your layout itself isn't all that great. I don't like how on that picture/statue of that person's face is completely covered up by like the white. Like how you put something over it. That is the FIRST thing I noticed when I walked in and I was like "Ew."
Next, everything is SO SMALL. To be honest, all I thought your site was at first was a bloging site, with just the index page because I could /not/ find your links. They are hidden in the left part of the screen and they are so small! Your headers are bigger then them! I would hugely consider making those larger. If I wasn't reviewing your site I would most likely just leave, instead of trying to find them.
Also I don't feel that your cbox goes with your layout. I personally don't like it just hanging off to the side at the bottom of the page. I would possibly put it on a seperate page or something.
Also, jazz up your links! All they look like to me are just text. Like they aren't even links, if that makes sense. xD
Oh and also your fanupdate posts are so small as well! Maybe consider going up a size or two for that?

(Oh and before I forget, I love the hover effect you have on your navigation links for the vistor, home, etc... Thats really cool. (: )

    Content:
First, I want to comment on your pacman layout.
I personally am not a fan of this. I like the general css, like how you positioned everthing, and I love the headers. Except the top image I personally think is to wide. I feel like it doesn't work with the sizes of your content area and sidebar.
Also the backgound (on my computer) is two different shades of blue. I personally feel like you should change it so that it is the background of the pacman image, the grey box thing, or just do it a plain grey.

    Cobra starship website layout:
I love this band and I love the layout you did for it, however yet again everything is so small! For the text I would say up it a size or two?

Your tutorials seem really helpful and you have quite a big selection for people. So that is good. :)

    Overall:
    Your site is alright! :)
I can tell you have taken a lot of work into it, and I am sure it can be a lot better if you change up a few things!
Best of luck with your site and I hoped this helped a bit. (:
