I suggest other thing you might be interested so it would be good for you and your viewers. I think you have the good vision now expand it to do something great. The navigation on top I think that you should label it because at first I didn’t even know they were there.

on 2nd Sep 2010 and said:First Impression: What a beautiful site. Not exactly original in layout but still appealing in color.
Layout: I know it wasn't made by you, so I won't complain there, but it's still nice. However I would add the links on your sidebar to the top of your page instead. Reason being, it makes navigation easier, besides the fact that, that layout was made for top navigation. It looks odd having navigation boxes on the top and them not going anywhere. Just place your links there instead.
Before you argue that they are not links, let me prove it to you.<div id="container">
<ul id="navigation">
<li><a href="/"></a></li>
<li><a href="/"></a></li>
<li><a href="/"></a></li>
<li><a href="/"></a></li>
<li><a href="/"></a></li>
</ul>See that code, that's where you add your links to the boxes, just add your url and you'll have them up there instantly. I can tell you this much it will make the site look better.
Coding: You're site is not valid, the CSS is, but not the rest of the site, it has 60 erros, you may wanna look into that. The layout may have been valid before you used it, but once you start adding your own content to it, the validation can change. Validator even has something called Tidy Cleanup, which will automatically give you the correct coding if you have trouble validating it on your own.
Site: You have a nice sidebar, but please remove that red x from under voting. I noticed it led to a contest that has since passed. So perhaps taking that down would help make the sidebar cleaner.
Also and you don't have to do this since it is your site but why not add <h2>Fanlistings</h2> instead of <i>Fanlistings</i> , the reason I say this is because it will also make the site look cleaner, not that it isn't, so please don't take this the wrong way.Blog: It's just a blog, and that's fine, you've written about school and yourself, it's like having a journal. I have no complaints.
As I read your entries I felt like I saw everything through your eyes. :)Suggestions: You know where you have the part about your site? I'd suggest you moved that up and place it under the Welcome part instead of having it so far down, this way people see your name right off and not have to wonder about it. Again I say check your coding, and try to validate it.
Overall: I like your site, I would visit again. Just keep working on making your site better. You're off to a great start so far. :)

on 2nd Aug 2010 and said:First Impression: I like the calming green colors. Where is your navigation? Oh, there are boxes at the ... nope, those are just links to nowhere.
Again, I like the colors, I think they go well together, and text is easy to read. The boxes at the top that link to your main page are cool looking, but I don't really understand why you have them linking anywhere at all.
I have no way of viewing your content other than going back through your previous posts one by one. It would be nice to have an archive link in your sidebar, or perhaps category links.
I'm interested in the blog challenge you're going through. You've only just started and haven't posted in a few days, but there are a few topics in there that I'd be interested in reading.
I'm not a code guru, so I don't have any advice, but you do have a link to your validation in your footer. The only problem is that your site doesn't validate, it has 60 errors. I'd suggest taking that link off or fixing the errors.
I appreciate that you've started capitalizing for us, because it really does make reading much easier. Props for that.
Overall, I think your site is pretty basic and does what you need it to do. While it may not be winning any awards right now, it serves its purpose as a blog for you to type things on.

on 13th Jul 2010 and said:Hello, I'm Trish and I'll be reviewing you, seeing as you've only got one review.
First Impression/Layout
Nice - I like it. Well, you didn't make it, but that doesn't matter much. I like how the font is nice and big, but maybe adding more line-height would make it seem less smudged-together. Also, your site would look so much better if you actually capitalized things. *cough*shiftbar*cough* It just feels like I'm reading an IM or a text. About the links at the top - you can always remove the link and style the boxes so they are still colored green.
3.5/5Sidebar/Footer
The sidebar is pretty standard and seems to be organized decently...you know...besides the lowercase typing. The footer has too much in it; you could move your fanlistings over to the side, because I don't see why they would go in the footer anyway. I never understood why people did the "I'm worth $----" thing. I'm priceless. :/ Whatever floats your boat, though.
4/5Blog
Not much to say about the entries besides that I got the fact you really like POTC. The only complaints I have are...the...lowercase typing. You could work on spelling, too, but that's not a big deal. Also, signing your name at the end of each entry is kind of pointless...because your name is in the sidebar... Just a thought.
3/5Conclusion
There really wasn't much to review, but you just started, so that's understandable. In my honest opinion, your site comes off as one of those teeny-sites. I mean, just reeeeach that left pinky finger over, man. ;D Trust me, it works wonders.
On another note, show a little respect to people who take the time to review you. No need to get so defensive.

on 10th Jul 2010 and said:Your site has virtually no content except for the blog posts that make your page scroll down way too far. None of your navigation links work of have text showing what they link to. The lack of grammatical correctness is quite annoying. The layout is pretty until you realize the links don't work and it scrolls down too much.
The right navigation looks nice at first glance, but you have a lot of useless information there. You can put credits on a separate page and have little icons that don't take up much space and are easily recognizable for Twitter, Formspring, and the like. I do not think that your portfolio link belongs right next to those two links. Maybe you could put it under the welcome category?
Overall, I think that you should combine your portfolio site and your blog.

's Response:
hm..no thanks. i like having my blog and portfolio different from eachother.
i took some of your thoughts in and i changed the amount of posts on one page so you don't have to scroll down so far.
if you look at the category my portfolio is under, it says websites. and since its my website, it makes sense that it's there. i do not need a credits page simply because there's nothing to credit besides where the layout came from and my host. so i don't see why making a separate page just for that. seems quite silly, don't you think?
the links i have for twitter, formspring, etc don't take up too much space. in fact, if i had the icons, that would take up more space and not fit within the layout. so i don't see why you made a comment about that...
as to your comment about not having enough content, it's a blog. not a resource site.
the links simply don't work because they aren't links. removing the boxes at the top of the screen makes the layout look unfinished and odd. i figured it would be quite obvious that they aren't links because they don't have words on them. but i guess there are some people who don't get that...
thank you for your review.
