Hey Taylor! It's Owen! I'll be reviewing your site in a screen resolution of 1024 by 768.

I really love your layout. It looks awesome! I would recommend changing the background colour slightly to match the two stripes of colour a little bit better. Maybe just a little bit brighter?

You should think about putting your header image in a div. If you don't know how to, let me know and I'll help you out :)

It is cool how you have got the updates and the contest above the actual blog. I'd recommend making the blog title bigger than the other headers, because I sometimes find it hard to locate the title of the blog.

I'd also recommend putting your content and sidebar in div's too, so then your background doesn't need to go right off the page, and you should also get a footer.

Now for your sidebar. The top of the sidebar has like an erased bit which I think you should take away. I'd also but a little bit of padding from the header to the content of the sidebar. So then it will not be really close the sidebar header.

Instead of having the "[?]" I would write "Apply for Advertisement". I don't think [?] makes sense..

Your stats are displayed nicely, although instead of having the pageviews and the hit per day estimated - you should get just a simple hit counter which could replace the hit counters at the bottom of the sidebar.

I really do think you should get rid of the C-Box, I think once you have your own domain, you should rely on comments on blog/posts. I think C-Boxes look tacky..

I'm not sure what you really mean by "Customers" and then having your stats displayed underneath. I would recommend changing it to "Visitors" because people don't pay for the content on your site, therefore they are not customers.

Overall, your site is really good! There are a few improvements that could be made, but other than that it's great! Good job!

There seems to too much going on and the online counter and the question box on the right bottom seems very out place, when it comes to colors.

The layout design isn't the best, but at least is not a low quality banner pasted on. You should try new effects and blends next time. :)
I see you have Content, Home, Visitors etc, but the review button seems to run out of place.

For the coding, it needs to improve more. Have your content area padding about 5px, so it won't on the side of the lines. Change your font color to something else, it looks "blah" with the background. For the header, add a bg color.

I like the fact there's a suggestion thing under, but

Want to see more of something that isn’t in any of the categories above? Go ahead and suggest! We might make it.

Just say "Please suggest of what you want to see more." That sounds more clean and professional.

Lets move on to your visitor contents.
How many people use button bases or button templates from your site? How many times did you use them?
Personally, I don't use them, or feel there's a need to make them.

I'm pleased to see that you did linked the fonts to their original owners, a lot of people do not do that.

Your pngs aren't bad. Your PS actions is not good. I know in the future you will add more and better then the current one.

I really adore the previews of your brushes. They look cute and clean, and the brushes do not look low quality, people can actually use these.

Get rid of things you don't need to make your page look crowed. Get rid of the "Stats" on the side bar, and just put them under "About Me" or "Layout History".
& "Page views per day: 85-100
    Hits per day: +300"
We can already see that at the bottom of your sidebar.

Overall, try doing a blend image layout if you haven't. And do not put low quality things/images (button bases) on your site.

& If I made any rude comments or offend you or made any errors, please forgive my mistakes. I hope you will improve in the near future.

So let’s start with the face of the site the colors are great and well matched. The fact that you could automatically see how many people are online is a great plus. I believe that you should communicate with your viewers so the fact that you have live chat so answer questions on the spot it’s fabulous. Your side bar is well organized. Next the contest it’s a good start to have your viewers engaged to interact in your site. Now under the domain you have basically what viewers are looking for. Your overall content is great so
The last thing I have to say is keep it up. =)

My name is Kristen, and I will be reviewing your site. I am viewing it in Google Chrome. I will talk mainly about your content and CSS.

Layout/CSS: I love how the pink is used in your layout. It pops but it isn't very overbearing. I do wish that you could carry the pink into your CSS a bit more. Maybe have your links be pink, or your bold text. Within your CSS you might want to mess around with your texts line heights and widths. It seems too tight and it's hard for the eyes to adjust. For some of your pages you have a lot of listed items. Here I would suggest started to use bullets. It's a very simple fix, but it will make your page look a lot better and organized.

Content: Navigation once in the resources/visitor page is a bit strange. The idea of the images is great, but I think the words should be a little bigger. My eyes were more drawn to the pictures first then the words. For the emoticons I would have them as a zip file for people/readers to download. It could be a big hassle having to save everyone. Your GIMP tutorials are great and very informative.

On your domain page I would not have everything as links. Maybe have some written content on the page (ex: history of site/past layouts), and on the bottom have the additional links. You do have a lot of great information regarding your domain which is always a plus. A lot of sites lack that content within that section.
Your portfolio work is very nice. I would suggest (mainly for your photography and photo manipulations) to add a pre-image loader to your site. It doesn't take too long to load, but it would be nice if they were preloaded.

You have a decent amount of information about yourself which is awesome. People like knowing whose blogs they are reading.

The disclaimer that you have on a lot of your pages should also be at the bottom of your main site. That way it gives you a nice footer, and lets people know right off the bat what your terms are and what not.

Other: Within your blog you have the updates above it. I would either make the update section a little more bold; so it could stand out more, or move the update section to your left side bar. It makes it seem cluttered the way it is, but I do think it's a great idea.

Hey there! I'm Ashley and I'll be reviewing your site. I'm viewing your site in Safari on a Mac. I'll mostly be looking at the layout as I'm not a huge code guru.

First Impressions: I do like the color scheme you've chosen, and that's an interesting font choice for your header and main navigation. A little tricky to read, but as it's big and in header form I think it works quite fine. Otherwise, I run in to some problems. The first thing I thought when I saw your site was "Oh dear, weborexia." This sort of style was popular for awhile and I haven't seen it for a bit, and it's something to be careful of. Leaving your columns so skinny and your title kerning so tight can make for some serious readability issues, especially with the small font size. You can easily remedy this by adding about 50 more pixels to the sidebar and preferably about 100 more to the main content column; if you've saved your layout image in layers then this should be a relatively easy fix. Another thing that you should be careful of is running in to copyright issues when using celebrity or professional model photographs in your layouts. While such images are indeed freely available, the legality is very questionable and while you may choose to continue to use them, be aware that this could be a very large potential problem in the future EVEN IF you write somewhere that you credit them back to the original site. You can credit anything you want, but it doesn't necessarily give you the rights for use. Finally, your main content area has a vertical scroll - if you could get rid of that, it would help your space issue for sure! Make sure you don't have a height defined for that div somewhere.

Visitor Content: Again, some extra width will really help this page so viewers can have a better look at the resources that you have put together. Perhaps consider making larger icons for the different subsections, as well, so that they are a bit easier to read and understand what exactly it is the viewer is looking at. It's pretty easy to quickly overlook the small buttons. The Brushes could definitely do for some larger buttons, because I literally had no idea what I was about to look at when I clicked on them to get the larger preview! Not everyone will be un-lazy enough to click through to get previews. Same thing goes for your layouts and other resources, and my same warning about the celebrity photos goes for your layouts. If you do decide to change from using celebrity photos, do have a look at the stock photo section on deviantART; there are plenty of photographers who take pictures of great models, and many will allow you to use their photography off of deviantART with credit, either explicitly or if you drop them a message and ask.

Domain: Here I would recommend styling your bulleted list to give it a little more breathing room. This wouldn't even need more width, just a little more line height and perhaps some indentation. It's a really quick fix. Also, think a little bit about the order you put the pages in - for example, you might want to put "Frequently Asked Questions" before the "Ask a Question" link, because then people will be more likely to check that out first. I see that you have them in alphabetical order but it would be quite alright to order them by what you feel is most important instead.

Portfolio: Your icons load very slowly, so you may want to look in to reducing file size for those. Instead of simply resizing a large image, actually make a 100x100 thumbnail. When you resize a large image via HTML, even though you've made it smaller, it still needs to load as much information as it does for a big image. I'd also recommend using lightbox the way you did for your brush previews, as it's a little frustrating for the thumbnails to pop a new tab open.

About Page: Again, give this a little breathing room - a little more line-height and a bigger text size will make it much easier on the eyes. Otherwise, it's nicely written and I think you did a great job!

Overall, I think you have a lot of work to do BUT a lot of these things are fairly easy fixes and are a matter of just practicing until you get better. Regardless of all my critique, you are off to a good start, just again, keep practicing and learning!
