Hi there, I know tube been given some really extensive and great reviews. I hope you'll find my review just as helpful. I'm reviewing the site using my iPhone so please excuse and spelling errors.
So my first impression, I really like yor layout. The colours match this season and it's really warm. I can't complain about it really, it's all very neat and the navigation us easy to find and follow.
There seems to be a lot of black on White text. This isn't too bad but maybe you could add other colours such as for bold, just to break it up a bit.
Now for your different sections. On the domain page you state 'I also offer hosting and other goods. Visitor content is included as well.' Other goods tends to cover visitor content so that's a bit repetitive there.
You clearly credit sites with the actual content you used which is great.
Your 'lady' page. The propsal section is so sweet. Wish you all the best for having children. People often have a 'favourites' section like favourite books or music. That's one way to expand.
Your hosting section is laid out well. All the relevant information is there.
Oh just a side note, your validated buttons do not need to be on your sidebar, they could easily and probably more appropriately be placed in the domain section.
You said that your site has visitor content but I could not find any. You seem to be very good with coding. Perhaps you could offer tutorials on coding or validating HTML. Just suggestions for increasing your content.
Your 'joined' section is cool. There isn't much to comment on there.
I love you applying for affiliation is linked to email. However, it may be a good idea to have a section with your personal terms and conditions. It just saves you time from having to sift through the applications.
I enjoyed going through your site.

I'm only really rating your design..

Upon first impression, I generally liked your design. However, as I moved towards your text, it became hard for me too look at your site. A general rule of thumb about text is that is should always be on a white background with a readable color. White one black is really harsh towards the eyes, especially since I have a very large resolution and bright screen, it only makes it more worse.

In fact, the white text throws off your whole layout. Perhaps a dark yellow-orange color for text would be easier to read. For example, you link colors don't hurt my eyes at all reading them!

You blue-text headers are also a bit difficult to read. I suggest making the text larger or a different color.

Otherwise, I like your design. It's simple and pretty. Just think about readability and whether or not certain colors work well with another. The basic rules of colors and the color wheel is your best friend.

    :)

-edit- Actually what Josh said below (I just read it, haha) about gray text is a good idea too. :)

Okay, I'm just going to be quickly reviewing your design. The header image is really cute - I like it! I don't really like the orange background for the whole page, though. It's a bit harsh on the eyes. Really, your layout is a bit harsh on the eyes in general, besides the header image. White text on black background, next to orange background is not very pleasing. Sure it pops and it's very contrasting, but, really, it's too contrasting. You should use a dark grey and a light grey instead of actual black and white. It's much easier on the eyes.

For the actual page background...I'm not too sure what I'd suggest, but it's definitely too much orange. Maybe an off-white? Just something simple in the background. Or possibly a really pale, kind of creamy orange. It's the background, so you don't want all the attention drawn to it, which is basically what's happening right now. You want something more subdued so that the eyes focus on the content instead of the bright, eye-catching, orange background.

Also, you definitely need to increase the size of your text. Not only is the color combination harsh, it is way too small to read comfortably. Definitely recommend sizing that up. Oh, and although blue and orange are nice together, they are not nice together for text. The blue title text on the orange background is almost unreadable. Way, way, way too harsh.

So basically I'd recommend scaling the text up a bit and working on colors. Other than that, it's a very cute design!

The look its simple but at the same time its not. Your header it just wonderful it has a beautiful creativity to it. So jumping back to your creativity your site awards I never saw an award like that so it’s good to have something different. It great that your willing to host that’s a great way for you to get more hits on your site. By looking at your c-box you have lots of questions so why not add a frequently asked questions section? Your basic tutorials a well for so that’s great. If you add more to your site I now it’s going to be awesome of what I have seen. But why not more pages about different things at attract different viewers? Overall fabulous site the css is well one doesn’t struggle to read your text and it easy to navigate throw your site. Keep being great. =)

Your layout is amazing! I love the colors and the deign is very appealing to my eyes. The header image doesn't seem to line up with the blog content on the left side of the page in my browser but it's not a big distration. I am surprised by how often you post on your blog. I don't know how you are able to do that. You don't have a lot of content like you mentioned but I think it is a good start. All in all I think you have a great little website.

Hello, Bella! My name is Dorine and I'll be reviewing your website today ;)

    <strong>Site Name and URL</strong>

I like your site name enormously - but if your website's URL was in-rhapsody.com, it would be easier to understand even though most people don't enjoy seeing hyphens about. In Rhapsody is a very sweet name and like I said, I like it enormously. 10 out of 10 for this section!

    <strong>Layout</strong>

This layout is very, very, nice. Why? Because your header image matches your coding colours and with the "little trees", it makes a visitor feels good. It would be because if the "Inrhapsody.com" was changed to IN RHAPSODY with a cursive font. Now time for a small little cruel criticism! :(

<em>a:hover</em> I don't really like the hot pink border on top of your navigation links. It interrupts the reading because of my cursor as well. It would be better if it was changed to another colour or erase it.

<em>C5mments</em> I think it would be better to change it to 5 Comments. I understand that it is unique but it would be easier to read and understand for your visitors. I had a hard time figuring what was that.

8 out of 10 for this section! :)

    <strong>Fonts, Smilies, ETC.</strong>
I love almost everything in your website. The text are just properly sized and the text, with the font you are using(Arial, Tahoma, anything?) is readable and matches the size too! As for smilies, I only have two words to say. "MATCHING" and "FABULOUS". :D

As for your CBOX, I have no comments, just align it a bit more to the center. It would be nicer that way - like a balance between a see-saw. :D

10 out of 10 for this section! Now in for the pages!

<em>The Blog</em> It would be better to name it "Home" but "The Blog" sounds nice too!
<em>The Domain</em> I like this page! It's very detailed and separated into categories that are JUST RIGHT for the page!* Well done. But you could place "Link InRhapsody" at the bottom though. :P
<em>The Lady</em>Mhm, sweet name! It's just like "The Domain", very detailed, and I like that you include your hubby into your website too! Your hubby must be really touched ;) "Style: Casual but girly with a twist of vintage." A line that is regularly NOT included in other website. UNIQUE!
<em>The Visitor</em> A little more resources like link-me 88x31 buttons and little dividers would be great. I like "Win An Award" and I just applied for the "Peace Dreams Award" -giggles-
<em>The Affiliates</em> This is sweet. But "Affiliates" aren't really the right name. "Affiliates" are used mostly on business and most of us would rather use "Friends". But it's your choice :) I don't have much opinion on this page.
<em>The Joined</em> That's good! I never make enough time to create a "Joined" page for my website but you put all your fanlistings in it in which I am pleased as some people never link the fanlistings back :S

I'll give you 8 out of 10 in this section! :D

I don't like to harp on coding, I prefer talking about your layout. And this is great - I have an excuse to NOT talk about coding since your coding is validated and your CSS is validated as well! :)

I've given you a 4 and a half rating and I don't see why you don't deserve it.

Wow! This is one great review. I'll take your suggestions into consideration. :) I almost purchased the site as in-rhapsody.com, which I may do next time I get funds in my paypal. ;) I'm actually getting annoyed with those hot pink links too, maybe I'll just change them so that they hover in a solid color, this will be easier. I was already about to change the comments link, so I'm glad you suggested it. :)
All in all this review really put a huge smile on my face. Now about that award. :p
I'll check out your hosting. Thank you for the recommendation. :)

HI Bella! I'm Charlotte and I'll be reviewing to review your site.:)

First Print / Layout / Code

Layout: I knew I had seen a theme like this, but where? Then I saw in your credits that you mention it, but the current theme is done by you, and it's really quite pleasant. Reminds me of autumn and the colors match perfectly. :)

Smiley: Well, it really does not match the rest of the layout. These smilies are cute, but do not know if you noticed, they were made to white backgrounds, or at least that is the impression it gives, as they have a white border. This contrast does not work very well.

Fonts: This is a readable font, not too small or too large.

Code: Congratulations! Your code is impeccable. :)

Menu: The menu is well-organized. Although I do not like rotations, they are in the right place after all.

    Content

Blogs: You write well, and your posts are exactly what they should be. And, my God, I loved the way the second letter of the word comments is the number of comments. : D Brilliant.

Domain: Has all the necessary information here, and about your past as webmiss - all have those moments when we barely know what we're doing, and we ended up causing some confusion. Yeah, I know how it is PERFECTLY. It's nice of you write about it shows that you're already a different person than you was, and and is already more mature (look who's talking, I'm thirteen :p)

About Me: It's also organized and has all the necessary information. And you also devoted a section to your wedding, this is sweet.

    Extras:
Snippets - They are very helpful, really.
Site Awards - is something very creative. Speaking personally, I had a phase where I was obsessed with these dolls that appear in your awards, so now I can not see one of those before me. Seriously, I can not even like them. But the idea is good.
Hosting - I am very upset to see people with the extra space in their hosting, but still do not think to offer subdomains. Glad you're not one of them ^ ^

    Joined, Affiliates: ok.

Well, I'll give you a 4. I don't see why give you less.:) Keep working in your site, you still can do a lot of things.

    inrhapsody's Response:

OMG! Wow! I honestly didn't expect this good of a review. Thank you so much! Oh I know about the smilies, I think it's that I fell in love with the ones that had the white border, but I can always use the ones without a white border just as well. :) The awards section I was debating on, now I may or may not keep it depending on how others feel. As much as I love dolls, they can be a little to much at times. It's the little girl in me that can't let them go.
Thank you again for your review Cherry, you've just made my day brighter with that. :)
