Reviews Kept After Site Deletion
Due to complaints over the past week or so about people deleting their sites after receiving a few reviews (negative or otherwise), I spent some time this weekend implementing a review 'archive' feature.
Now, when a site is deleted, the associated reviews are marked as archived instead of being deleted too. In user review lists and on the main review page, reviews for deleted sites will still appear but will be linked through to a single 'review' page. This means that, although the reader cannot click through to the original site for comparison, no time and effort is wasted on behalf of the reviewer.

Yey! Now you save the site-owner's self-esteem and the reviewer's effort. =)

I still think they are being big, fat babies if they can't handle the criticism..! XP At least people won't lose their precious reviews anymore!

@Mimi: Maybe they just take down their site because they are fixing it, and don't want anyone to review their old site when there will be a new one up soon.

Awesome. Could you also make it so that when I click on a site's link, it'll bring me to a new window? It's really annoying to find out that I'm no longer in rev.iew.me anymore. =P

^ Nope. I don't like websites dictating how I open links. If you want a new window, you need to do it yourself :) Middle click ftw!

You know what you can do about the opening sites in a new window "issue"? Here I go, back to my jQuery fanboy ways:
You can do something like Web Design Wall, have an option for opening links in a new window.
However, I agree with not forcing people to open links in new windows.
