The not-so-short and sweet: I'm Elia, 23 majestic years of age, I design & code web sites and applications, and I have a unhealthy fondness for sweet, red fruits, particularly strawberries. I'm in between schools right now, attempting to get back on track so I can head off to FIT for a major in marketing & photography.

Beautiful, usable design. Originality. jQuery, or some awesome JavaScript or other library that allows for spectacular effects. Dark colors—saves electricity, y'know. Non-standard fonts: rep that Cufon magic. Verdana, if used properly. Sexy icons (to the kiddies, no, not avatars: icons).

Dislikes:

Poor code. Tacky, pixeled, and/or blurry graphics. Comic Sans MS. Verdana, if used improperly. Miniscule text. Poor code. Centered/justified text. Too contrasting colors. Sites claiming to know what they're talking about when clearly, they learned what they know by reading another bogus website. Duplicate content. Also, poor code.
